They always get the order wrong, forget items, give me someone else's food, or give me my food cold (even when I ask for fresh). Today, however, they completely ignored me and 4 other cars all together. According to Google and even the posted hours on the store windows, the drive-thru closes at 12am on Saturdays. We placed a mobile order at 10:59pm and left the place at 11:20ish.They ignored us at the ordering screen for a long time upon arrival. When we drove to the pick-up window to see what was up, there were several employees in front. They went about their closing duties and ignored us, even though several made eye contact with us. If a business is closed, they are not allowed to open the windows or doors to anyone, however, they can make a gesture to let us know they are closed or tell us through the ordering speaker that they are closed so we don't waste time or have a bad experience with being ignored to our faces. We drove away but went back around to let the other cars waiting know that they ignored us and the window had the lock on it. I'm pretty sure this happens every night if they're so comfortable ignoring SEVERAL customers. If they close the entire store at 11pm, they should update the hours on Google and their posted signs at the restaurant. If the hours are correct and the drive-thru closes at 12am like it says, then they ignored all of us and lost business. We came to the other McDonald's and they had lots of business (they have the same hours online and posted at the store). It's a shame this location treated us all this way. I hadn't eaten all day and was really craving McDonald's (9 months pregnant!) and this one is by my house. We stopped by because it's the closest and we had just got done shopping at HEB. I'm glad the other location serviced us and that I got to satisfy my craving and extreme hunger. Not sure if this is a franchised location, but if it is, the owner seems to lose a lot more money if they're closing an hour before they're...
Read moreThe sausage egg McMuffin had pieces of eggshells in it, and the manager was annoyed when asked for a refund she begrudgingly granted.
This was not our first visit to this McDonald’s franchise location, but we had received good service until today.
We bought two combo meals this morning; one of the sandwiches came with bits of eggshells. We called but no one picked up. So we drove over. Their mistake ruined the meal and inconvenienced our schedule. So we asked for a full refund.
Instead of an apology for their negligence or an explanation of how it could’ve happened, the manager was visibly annoyed at the complaint. She was combative and argumentative.
In the picture I attached, the eggshells can be seen on the napkin.
She hesitantly agreed to the refund and when she did, it was only for the affected sandwich. Our time is valuable, too, and the inconvenience in addressing this wasn’t acknowledged.
We’re reasonable, and we understand that mistakes happen when it gets busy. We’d even understand if the policy only allows for a refund of the affected item. But instead of a polite explanation, we were greeted with rudeness and abrasive questioning.
Overall, I felt the manager’s demeanor was unprofessional and her solution inadequate. That was worse than the oversight of...
Read moreI went to this location at 4:35pm they won’t answer the phone when I called 2 times!! They didn’t give me my order right! I couldn’t go back because I have to go to work, but these people can’t get it together. First I repeated my order on the intercom several times and they still got it wrong, when I went to pay, the young man at the window just reached out for the payment. He didn’t say a word and just kept looking at me. I trust these workers to get my order right and they can’t even do that, at least repeat what I got to make sure they got it correct. They charged me a large meal, yet they gave me medium fries and the wrong drink. I asked for a Bigmac with only cheese and lettuce, and they gave it to me all the way with extra Mac sauce. I don’t know if this is their way of mocking people, but the manager should also know better. If no one is answering the phone, or keeping the workers in check, then who’s running the floor!? Now I have to hear it from my kids...
