We visited this location for the 1st time a few weeks back... Tried 3 other locations & all have been fantastic. Not this one, some bread you could tell was stale some looked fresh. As we asked if we could get the bread behind the counter the young lady rudely replied yes, I'm cleaning out the display rack. We asked if I can provide my cell phone number for my reward points, which she said we don't do that here, I thought all locations were the same. When we were paying my wife was paying touch pay & it was wasn't going through, same young lady reach over to grab my wife's card somewhat aggressively while my wife was still holding the card. Clerk didn't even have gloves. We restrained ourselves in saying something at that moment. Once payment went through she seemed annoyed, not sure if she wanted to be there but you need to train them better. Once leaving she didn't say thank you, that's when I told her she doesn't have to be rude, she replied I wasn't rude by rolling her eyes and her tone said otherwise. We were mad, felt disgusted. We shop at that Sam's near bye.. never again going to this location unless...
Read moreI used to love this place when I worked in Mission so when they opened one down the street from my home I was so happy but unfortunately this last time I went the bread was absolutely disgusting. To start the conchas were so stuck to the baking sheets that when you’d reach in to get them you’d totally ruin them. Then the price was ridiculous $24 for maybe 10 pieces of bread 4 of those being the minuscule conchas. We get home price shocked and all but happy to have panecito dulce to eat with our hot chocolate when come to find out some of it was undercooked and had to be thrown out, the pumpkin empanada filling was just a gross gelatinous clump surrounded by dry bread. This was the worst experience I’ve had with this bakery. I’ve always known it’s too expensive but have looked past that because it was worth it and well regretfully it no longer is and needless to say I won’t be going back. You’re better off going to La Estación down the street. Don’t get me wrong they too are expensive but are...
Read moreParis Bakery, there are several. This one is on Trenton just off Main St. It's in the strip mall on the street that's the South entrance to Sam's. Walking in, the place feels spacious, maybe a little too spacious. There are self-serve cabinets filled with their sweet delights. Also, trays and tongs are aplenty. At first glance, it doesn't appear as much of a selection. Once you start going in, you find a good enough amount of options. I gotta have a cheese Danish, and we always get the cinnamon twists (that's what I call them). They have this Almond covered pastry that's really good. They have a display cabinet with cakes that they can personalize for you. Coffee and hot chocolate are also available, as well as grab...
