We had ordered 6:10 and was told to come in at 6:40 so it can be ready. That was fine, so we had arrived at 6:40, but they hadn’t even put in the pizzas yet. We had to wait 20 minutes for them to finish it, and they had forgotten our salad.
The pizzas were lackluster, almost a worse equivalent to Mr. Gatti’s but the price of the buffet there is the price of a single pizza here. Nothing was offensively bad until we had the churro pizza where it felt they over-mixed the dough, so it was tough and chewy which isn’t really expected when having a “churro pizza.” The garlic cheese bread had barely any garlic and barely any cheese. Little Caesars tops them in this aspect.
The worst offense was the “deal” we got, which was the family pack. It was my mistake for not doing the math, but you lose $10 doing that pack than just ordering individually. The price of the pack is $50, but with what you get, it should come out to around $35-$40 if you don’t get anything premium.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone based off this experience. Two stars...
Read moreAs an educator, I love to see the young generation working and learning the ropes of the industry. However, tonight when I went in, I ordered a pepperoni pizza and the young lady making my order was new and didn’t fulfill the order to the liking of management on duty. I, however, was okay with they quality of the way she made the pizza. I was at the location in Pharr, in the plaza, and I did not appreciate the management on duty to scold her as opposed to teach her how to correct her mistake. Ana O was the manager that I witnessed scold her in front of us. Ana, you were made a manager to TEACH and mentor these young individuals to work at this location, not to put them down because they didn’t get an order correct on there first week of work. How does one expect to make great workers without teaching them correctly? Very disappointed in management at the Pharr location, food was great, but people need to also be reminded of being humble and human to teach our upcoming...
Read moreAmazing pizza! My wife and I are pizza lovers and can be kind of critical when it comes to that subject. I don't use the phrase "amazing pizza" lightly.
I've been to Mod Pizza in Corpus and Houston, but this place takes the cake. In my opinion, it's better.
You go up to the counter, and they make the pizza from scratch right in front of you. My wife got a combo pizza without olives and she loved it. They had a new calzone special and man that thing was awesome. I devoured it in 5 minutes. The workers were really nice and the dude who charged us gave us some ranch and buffalo sauce that went perfect with our selection.
The bathrooms were relatively clean. Plenty of parking and lots of seating with TVs that had movies and sports. Next time I come around, I'd like to try some of their beers. They had a couple of selections on tap.
For the price, I say it's worth it. Rather get some from here than another chain. Highly recommend it!...
