This has to be the worst location ever. This restaurant and its staff will straight up lie to you and steal your money. I had placed an online order on 9/12/24, which included a smoked potato with meat and set the pick up for 9:30pm. When I was in the drive thru line and notified the staff that I was there to pick up my order, they informed me to go to the pick up window. There were two cars ahead of me so no big deal. As I was waiting in line and a couple of minutes AFTER 9:30 (my pick up time) I get a call from the restaurant and I’m assuming the woman I spoke to was a manager, stated they were out of potatoes. She offered to replace the potato with another menu item, but I just wanted a refund. She said she would get the refund done for me. It’s been a month now and I never received a refund, so on top of me being out dinner that night, they stole my money. They will also lie to you about what items they have available. I tried to order the Extra Wild Bill sandwich that I had ordered before at this location, but they stated they never made it at this location and it was only made at their location in McAllen on 10th street. But I even have the receipt from their location with that sandwich on there? I hate this location. I will never, ever recommend this location to anyone. It’s full of thieves and liars. Read moreI usually go once a month. the food is good. but it's pretty expensive. Unfortunately, the customer service is a hit or miss. Mostly a miss. The manager is very friendly but the regular employees not so much. Today I went in and after being stuck behind a group of very slow ordering people, the employees walked away. They didn't greet me, not even a "we will be with you in a moment.." Nothing. But the driver through girl was content sipping on her ice tea and just stand there watching other people work (there were no customers in drive through). The expo Coordinator gave trays to pass out to the cashier, then walked away. Having spent a number of years in the restaurant industry I know, no self respecting business owner would appreciate their staff turning their backs on their customers with out even saying a word. There is a clear lack of either cross training or team work attitude. Either way it's the customer that suffers. What's worse when started to walk out they did not even try to rectify the situation. They just watched me walk away. Maybe I'm the jerk for not waiting for it to be convenient for THEM to take take my money, either way I won't be returning. Never fails to be anything but disappointing! You will never feel like you are doing anything but inconveniencing them by stopping by and providing them your business. No warm greeting, definitely no helpful attitude, and they will rush you bye asking you literally verbatim "Is that it!" or "Is that all!" After every portion of your order. The tone at which it said is definitely implying hurry up and spit out whatever you want so I don't have to deal with you! Last time I know I got someone in some type of leadership and it was no difference! Absolutely shameful customer service! If I didn't like the barbecue so much and reasonable price and close proximity to my place definitely would choose to go...
