There is a place—no, a sanctuary—nestled among the ordinary, where the mundane rules of fast food are shattered and reborn in the form of something truly extraordinary. That place is 80/20. It is not just a burger joint. It is a cathedral of carnivorous perfection, where the sacred ratio of meat to fat—80 percent lean, 20 percent luscious, flavorful fat—is honored like holy scripture. The moment I walk into The Point, the world outside fades away and I am greeted by the intoxicating aroma of sizzling patties, grilled to an almost mythic standard of juicy excellence. Every burger here is not just made—it is forged like a weapon of mass deliciousness, layered with cheese that melts like golden velvet, pickles that bite with tangy precision, and sauces that whisper secrets of flavor passed down through generations. The bun? Soft, golden, toasted on the edges with the gentlest crunch, like a crown atop a king. And the first bite—oh, that first bite—is like the heavens opening. Time slows. My senses explode. Suddenly, I remember why I believe in good things, in flavor, in joy. Everything at 80/20 is crafted with love, with soul, with an almost reckless commitment to excellence. The fries? Crisp perfection. The shakes? Silky miracles. And the staff? People of warmth and burger brilliance. I don’t just love 80/20—I worship it. This is not just a meal. It’s an awakening. It’s the best thing I’ve ever tasted. And if falling in love with 80/20 is wrong, then I never want...
Read more7/18/24: I thought I had already reviewed this place I guess I haven't. Anywho this place is Great I've been here 4 times. 2 past prior 3 time this past Friday the 18 and then again Saturday the 19. Both days the food, service and atmosphere were great. I wanted to try the pizza place spaghetti but it had to pre order the day before so I ordered one for Saturday that is why I came back. On Friday I went with a buddie of mine and he tried a pepperoni pizza slice and I got some garlic Parmesan wings. The wings were ok the chicken seemed bland but it was ok. My friend loved the pizza when he saw it he said it might be good but once he tasted it he was surprised and happy he said it was great. On Saturday I went with my parents and my dad got a gourmet hotdog. He said it was pretty good but a bit pricey. My Mom and I ordered from the Mexican food truck I forgot what's it called but it's red. She ordered flautas and I ordered tacos de fajitas. They were very good. I love this place. Many options on what eat and very clean. They also have TV's and I think they do karaoke too...
Read moreThe Point has a great setup with fun vibes as soon as you walk in. The in-house bar offers a solid selection of beers, seltzers, and mixed drinks, and while the food truck lineup is small, each vendor packs a flavorful punch—there’s definitely something to satisfy every palate.
That said, I think I’ll need to return another day to truly enjoy what the venue has to offer. During our visit, a street car and motorcycle meetup completely overtook the parking lot, forcing us to park elsewhere. Throughout the night, revving competitions echoed across the entire area, often drowning out and disrupting the food truck experience. At one point, my vendor and I were just standing there, waiting for the noise to subside so I could place my order. Racing then began on the street nearby, which made the atmosphere feel chaotic and uncomfortable for several guests—including us.
We ended up leaving early to enjoy the rest of our evening elsewhere. If this kind of event had been advertised or communicated in advance, we could’ve planned accordingly and set different...
