Valley Running Co — Local services in McAllen

I’ve been to your store before and enjoyed the service; but my review is about the running groups you host in the afternoons. In the middle of a pandemic hosting groups is the last thing that should be occurring unless necessary, not only that if you want to be in groups either stay six feet apart and run in single file or if running in pairs or something similar, then wear your masks. Not only that it’s unfair to other runners on the trails having to deal with your groups taking up the entire trail and blocking the start/stop points at the ends; the last thing I want when running is to essentially be forced to the grass or lose my momentum because your group can’t understand distancing from others. Yes, 7pm and later is generally the high peak hours for the trails because it’s cooler but if I’m really avoiding y’all’s group by going at 6pm in 100F weather then you need to re-evaluate yourselves and see how y’all can be better to other runners. Remember share the trail, it’s the cutter push thing to to do.

On a side note; if I say excuse me when running toward then end of the trail you should tell your runners to be nice and just move and not give passive aggressive...

Great experience - much different than any other kinds of shopping; service is the focus and the attention to detail, knowledgeability of the employees and the enthusiasm for, not just the products, but the result of the right equipment (namely shoes/footwear) to better suit the individual is refreshing, to say the least. It feels very personal and genuine - any and all discussions. It not only offers a quality selection but intentionality in the types and variation of products - noticably to have been curated by passionate and conscientious individuals, the store team/management.

If you want to invest in yourself and your wellness, I'd highly recommend spending your time and money here at this locally owned establishment.

We visited Fleet Feet the day before specifically searching for a pair of On Cloudmonster running shoes for my husband. They refused to offer us tax-free on tax-free weekend because the shoes were over $100.
