Update 3-6-2024: Where are all the kettlebells? I walked around your gym at 4:50 AM and the only kettle bells there are are the 55 and 65. Where is the 35 lb one from two weeks ago? The gym was not busy and they were no where to be found on the floor. (See photo)

There ARE kettlebells available (the type I need for my workout) but they're locked up in the group/private class area that you have to pay extra for.

Kettlebells are a key part of my workout and were always ubiquitous at Crunch.

The manager did not "order" any new equipment as promised, just more lip service so he can tell his manager he's compliant on "customer satisfaction."

Get your free weights in order, they're a missing or a total mess.

Update 1-18-2024: Where are all the free weights?

I came in at 4:30 AM and there were 2-3 guys using the free weights. I counted 10 dumbbells on the floor (four me, six another guy) and thirty empty spots on the rack. See video for details.

So that’s 20 barbells unaccounted for. (See video and photos)

What’s going on MGMT? Free weights form the foundation of most exercise routines and few people are using the 100 lb plus ones. Get some more equipment.

Let’s move on to Kettlebells: My routine requires 10 15, 20 and 25 lb kettle bells but they have ONE of each of these: 35, 50 and 65 lbs. (see photos)

Behind a locked glass door for classes was a whole beautiful set of kettle bells and dumbbells which a staff member said were only for classes. (See video)

MGMT, what’s going on?

Need to increase the amount of free weights 10,12.5,15 and 20 pounds. Seems like they’re missing or there’s only one set of each.

For such an enormous building the free weight area is tiny and you’re always bumping into someone and there isn’t much room to work out.

There’s a lack of bars for the benches: I’d love to do an inverted bench press but… oh the bar is being used on another bench. How do you not have a bar for each bench?

I went to Crunch Fitness multiple times and never had this issue either getting free weights or finding a bar.

The cross-fit area is tiny: No bands, not much there and not much room in any case in there actually was equipment.

I reluctantly chose this gym for its location but will likely cancel unless they can figure out how to get some extra commonly used equipment.

If you’re looking for a place to do free weights, bench, ect… All the classic workouts go somewhere else.

I think paying a bit more and having the equipment available is worth it if you consider that your time is your most valuable resource.

Gym is great if you’re coming to use a machine, stair-master, exercise bike or treadmill. Any functional body building and you’ll be waiting/looking around for barbells/kettlebells and bumping into people in the tiny barbell area.

Update 1-16-2024: I notified the staff that the barbell area is a mess but I doubt if any new equipment/racks will be ordered or the free weight area expanded.

So heartbroken about this gym. I’ve been coming to this specific gym since I was 14, I’m 25 now. I’ve always loved the gym and my family loves trufit, which is why we all go there, different locations. But it’s been about a year now that I’ve had pretty bad experiences there with the staff ladies. I’ve NEVER had a problem with anyone there, I go, workout for an hour & have to head over to my sister’s to pick up my daughter. My time is so limited. But it’s been 3 times already where the ladies give me a hard time with my chip. I never have any problems at any other trufit, It’s always this one on 23rd and Dove!? Today I was told I couldn’t go in because my chip wasn’t working.. which is fine, I sat down with a lady at her desk to fix that problem, but then she continues to tell me I have to get another MEMBERSHIP because I changed my last name when I got married!? I had just paid there cash for my membership 2 months ago with a young lady at the front desk that was also rude to me BTW AND BEFORE THAT they also charged me $50 for an annual fee I believe????? I’m not sure what was going on, but I paid every time. & that’s FINE, BUT NOW YOURE TELLING ME I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER MEMBERSHIP BECAUSE I CHANGED MY LAST NAME WHEN I GOT MARRIED???😂😭

Ohh! & mind you, she said there was no one else in that account besides my husband.. (which we had just gotten him a membership a week ago) but my husband said that when he signed up, (at a trufit in a different location) the lady that signed him up showed him in her computer a list of my family’s memberships.. aunt’s, uncles, & my moms! Everyone was there, listed down.. so I don’t get why this lady was out here lying to me saying she didn’t know what I was talking about!!😂😭it was a MESS. Telling me many people were using my chip but I don’t give my chip to anyone and I’m a regular at that gym and the one on cornerstone and never have problems with anyone!!😭 AND THEN she continues to tell me she can’t do anything for me, I have to go to another trufit to change my last name!! After 30 minutes of arguing with me about how many people use my chip?? & how she can’t help me at all??

Lately it’s been looking like this trufit’s so problematic &...

0 stars for day care ever since I joined they never cleaned or swept the day care. They say it's because of what the floor is made of so my son always gets out of there all dirty. Toys are also always extremely dirty like they were picked out of the garbage can. I had problems with Demi at first she was nice then she showed her true colors I told her I had taken my son to the Dr because he had a cough but he was fine he didn't have anything contagious or anything she just advise me to give him cough medicine or other parents could complain. Next day she calls me out from my workout basically saying I needed an excuse or some paper from the Dr. I was very upset since she never mention that or even the managers when I first joined even though I had told her the day before I had already taken him she wanted me to go for an excuse. She was very unprofessional after that not even asking me the number to sign my son in I basically left him without her acknowledging I left him there she would not talk or look at him at all. I decided after a while to just cancel my membership since she was not watching him at all or at least that's how she made it seem since he was the only child in there at times. People shouldn't work with kids if they don't like kids. I complained a few times to managers every time it was a different manager. So no one did anything. And she did that to me a few times. I didn't join to look forward to not going. I recently got contacted by the district manager asking me to remove my 1 star review which I did when he said because he was supposed to give me some type of deal. So I did what he said when he said at that very moment he didn't even go through to what he said and now says oh ur promotion expired. Don't be so easy to leave reviews when you just join because as soon as you run into something they won't help you all they care is for the people to join take the money and don't care when issues arise. I have a number of complaints but point made is 0 stars...
