This place used to be a gemânow itâs a cautionary tale in how to destroy a good business. The owner has gutted everything that made it worth coming here: beloved juices and smoothies? Gone. Protein shakes? Axed. One by one, the best staff have leftâno surprise, considering how little management seems to care. Now they're refusing to take cash and have the audacity to tack on a card surcharge? The decline doesnât feel accidentalâit feels intentional. The message is loud and clear: the owner has zero respect for their customers or employees. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere that actually values it.
Edit (8/20/2025): My boyfriend worked here for nearly a decade, and Iâve never seen someone who once loved his job come home so consistently defeated and drained. Out of respect for himâand for the years of sweat and effort he poured into this placeâI wonât air every detail I know about the owner. But what I will say is this: the problems go far deeper than ârising costs.â
When longtime employees are leaving in waves, thatâs not just economicsâthatâs a reflection of how little value management places on their staff. When, instead of simply adjusting prices, you rip entire staples off the menu, thatâs not hard decision-makingâitâs disregard for the customers who kept coming back for those items. And when you stop taking cash while tacking on card fees, thatâs not survivalâitâs nickel-and-diming people who trusted you with their business.
The truth is obvious to anyone watching: the downfall of this place isnât bad luck or tough timesâitâs the direct result of the...
Read moreSo very professional and understanding manager Brandon just saved me from giving this place one star over a dispute with Marisol who was trying to convince me that my son's room temperature drink that was liquid as water had ice in it when it was my drink the one that was supposed to have no ice yet my drink was hard as a rock and tasted like water instead of almond milk. She wasn't very friendly when I brought it up nor apologetic but insisted on convincing me that my son's tepid fully liquid drink had ice and that mine didn't (Ok?!!! my son had this drink before you know) She tried to convince me that the ice is what made my son's drink so liquid (umm... really?) Later I asked her 3 times if she needed my card for the refund but she wouldn't answer me. Her demeanor was rude but she would all the sudden talk so nicely and professional (weird) so maybe her co workers could hear she was doing everything right. Had she been more concern or apologetic at the beginning when I brought it up instead of trying to force me to believe otherwise or saved her science class on how ice makes drinks thinner not thicker I would of just walk away with my drink. Don't look at people in the face so confident telling them otherwise than what they see and taste and then after that you go ask the lady in the back if she did it right, she obviously didn't, yet why fight the costumer and be so upset at...
Read moreThe Health Nut uses high amounts of sugar in their smoothies, confirmed by team member.
I recently visited The Health Nut expecting a nutritious and balanced protein shake. I ordered one, but after the first sip, it tasted way too sweet. Curious, I checked their nutrition facts online and was shocked to see 53 grams of sugar! I called to ask if they add sugar, and they confirmed that they doâunless you specifically ask for âhalf sugarâ or âleanâ (which only contains natural sugar from fruit).
Iâm really disappointed that they donât make this clear to customers upfront. Many people come here thinking theyâre making a healthy choice, but in reality, theyâre getting a sugar-loaded drink unless they know the secret menu options. Transparency matters, and I hope they start informing customers about their...
