Boba City — Restaurant in McKinney

This has been my little sister and I's go-to boba place recently! I've been meaning to review earlier, but I couldn't figure out how to until now.

The store itself is very clean, and the lady that works behind the counter (maybe the owner?) is really sweet! She always greets customers and is super welcoming.

They make drinks super fast, and their boba is perfectly chewy. My sister and I are regulars at a handful of boba shops in the area, but after initially trying Boba City, it immediately climbed up to one of our top favorites.

I also love the unique flavors they offer. Their butterfly pea tea was the reason I decided to try their drinks, and I didn't regret it. I was wary about butterfly pea tea, since Google says it tastes earthy, but I loved the watermelon butterfly pea tea they make. I've since also tried the taro milk tea and cookies and cream milk tea, and I love them too. They also sell macarons, and I can say the honey lavendar macaron is really tasty, especially if you like floral things.

This place is amazing. You walk in and are greeted by the kindest staff ever, as well as convenient mini menus so you don’t have to stand and stare at the one above the register. They have an excellent selection of coffee, tea, smoothies, and ice cream; all of which are well placed. I paid $5.68 for a 20 oz tea. It was cold refreshing and most importantly, delicious. It was a little sweet for me, so if you don’t have a major sweet tooth get 50 or 75% sweetness.

I will definitely be coming back here, the staff was so kind and the drinks were so good, I want to try the whole menu.

EDIT 12/3/23: We came back and it was just as good!!! 8 of us ordered and she served us all in under 10 minutes! Our drinks were perfectly made with no mistakes. We tried the White Chocolate Coffee Frappuccino and the Mocha Coffee Frappuccino, both of which were on the sweet side, but very good.

We also tried the vanilla macaroon which was very crispy and with a subtle sweetness. She gave us a bottle of Bubble Gum Candy which was sour, chewy, and very...

Had a good experience in the store .. drinks are good and lot of options .. I had a mango butterfly tea which was really good ….

Environment is clean and staff was friendly

I was in town today and stopped at this store … I order brown sugar milk tea and mango yogurt smoothie …. The drinks were good and up to the expectations … I would definitely visit the store again ..

I visited again to the store and had mango yogurt …. The taste was good … I would recommend all premium smoothies from this store and also the milky tea….

Brown sugar milky tea was really good ….. I have tried Taro , Thai , Matcha green tea and also cookies and cream …. All of them are really good ….

From the coffee section I am very much used to the butter scotch …….this coffee is very much different unlike the other store and often exceeds the expectations ..

They also offer different macaroons for a fairly good price … all of them are gluten free and taste good…..

I would definitely recommend this store...
