Chicken Express — Restaurant in McKinney

So I pull up to this place around 6:30 pm, mind you it’s not even busy. I pull up and order 2 #4s for me and my friend. She wanted a breast and a thigh and I’m ordering two thighs. We didn’t want drinks so we doubled the sides. The lady taking our order responds accordingly. “What two pieces?” “What side and drink?”

We pull around and there’s two cars in front of us...normal. One car up front gets served and pulls away, we’re next. Lady comes out after about five minutes with one box. She asked us if we had seven tenders, we respond with a small reassuring laugh and repeat our order to her. She grunts loudly in frustration and storms back to the door. Only after seeing the face I was giving her did she offer a dry, “I’m not mad at you. Sorry.” Of course you can’t be referring to me.

A minute later, a different lady comes out with two drinks. We didn’t order drinks. She shouts out the wrong price and just stands there like we’re a problem or something. We tell her that’s not our order and repeat it...again. She walks off without another word and the car in front pulls off and we pull up to the window. The first girl opens the window with a smile and tells us she has fixed the issue. She then tells us we order one 4 piece tender with fries and okra. After repeating for the third time, I slow it down bit by bit. She then continued to say we wanted a tender meal with fries. We pulled off. Either they hired people who don’t listen very well, or...

I ordered food through the drive-thru...got home and missing the okra I PAID for...call back to let them know that it was left out...it was closing time so, I know they remembered and could look and verify but, the person that answered the phone had no MANAGEMENT SKILLS...she explained she would replace it tmrw....first I'm not eating just okra and second I'm not eating the same food again so, I explained that I wanted a refund she went on to tell me to call the owner and then went on to say I can't give his personal number then said call this number back tmrw....what I got out of that conversation was I just spent 17.00 and I called back to rip them off of 2.00 because I got my food...the manager on duty can't handle a situation except taking in money...I will be back for one last time and at the busiest time and everyone will know what took place...the rude manager that has NO CLUE is STEFANIE..will drive on n to McKinney to KFC or GOLDEN CHICK before I go 1 mile from my house to this DYSFUNCTIONAL UNMANAGED...

Food was great; however, our 5 tender dinners were mixed together in 4 boxes...tenders and cole slaw in one, tenders and okra in another, tenders and mashed potatoes in another, and tenders and gravy in the last. I should have realized something was wrong when I rolled up to the window and was immediately handed my large order without any wait. I remarked to the person handing me my order, “Wow! That was fast!” to which he replied, “Yea, the guy that fixed your order is the fastest one here!” Seriously?!!! Fast is good but in this case slow would have been preferable since the order was incorrect. In all, we were shorted 2 tenders, 1 mashed potato, 1 okra, 2 rolls, 1 gravy and our cutlery. I called the store in order to give them the opportunity to make amends but was unable to speak with anyone as the call went directly to voicemail. So...
