I come here religiously for lunch but after my experience today it will be the last. As normal, I went ahead and ordered some food and had it for takeout. Unfortunately one of the items were missing but I did not realize till I had arrived to my destination. I looked over my receipt and it was charged but I was not given the item. Going back to retrieving my missing item was not a big deal at all, but how the situation was handled did not made me feel comfortable. When I arriving back to the restaurant I went ahead and notified them that I was missing my cup soup. The gentleman that handed me my food in the first place was shocked that the soup was not there. He asked what was in the white bag, and I let him know there was no white bag in my large clear to-go bag. Then I was asked again what was in the white bag, and I stated again there was no white bag with soup. After being questioned multiple times about what was in my bag (that was nonexistent) I expressed to them I would not come all the way back there if my soup was not missing. I come to this place maybe 2 to 3 times a week, why on earth would I waste my time on lying to get free food (when some of the employees even recognize me because of how often I go!). It felt like they didnāt believe me⦠over a cup of soupā¦. decent place for lunch but beware, they often mess up on to-go orders and the one time you decide to go back for the food that you paid for, you better believe they wonāt believe you.
Side note: Iām pretty sure the gentleman in the button up that handed me my food and who was also going back-and-forth with me about the soup was the manager. After reading the reviews seems like Iām not the only one with an experience...

The young lady in the front was assisting me when I assume the manager an Asian male came in and grabbed the prepackaged items from there reach in cooler next to cash registers. While there was 2 of the flavors I wanted, I had a specific one that needed to be retrieved from the back. While the young lady rang me up and I paid, the Asian male came in a hurry and slammed my item on the counter. During this moment I asked the young lady about how long do the chicken salads last before going bad. The Asian male intervened and took out my products and showed me a expiration date on the back, and then proceeded to aggressively drop my product back into the bag, which had just been neatly packaged by the young lady and full of crackers. The young lady looked puzzled and shocked that the Asian male was this aggressive. While I understand that they are getting ready to close and are cleaning the restaurant, I am simply buying pre packaged items that do not require this level of rudeness and short tone from this Asian male. I love chicken salad chick and greatly appreciate the services Iāve had prior but tonight left me stumped. I came in early enough and left at 7:40. A total of 5 mins in store. The manager I assume, the Asian male needs to not be frustrated at customers and learn to compartmentalize their personal feeling from personal and professional settings. Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnline Order Disappointment - My mom has raved about this place so I thought I would give it a shot. Their online system is spotty. It kept freezing as we tried to order. We were unable to scroll, then after pausing for a while it would finally allow one of us to scroll. We should have called it in, but everytime we were ready to give up, it would start working.
We requested ASAP pick up which provided a 15 min estimate. We arrived about 20 or so minutes after purchase. We called to advise we'd arrived to which they said thanks and be right out. We sat in the car and realized it had been 10 minutes since we'd call. There was someone servicing customers so I attributed the delay to them being the only one on staff/at the front counter. An order had been sitting on the counter for five minutes so I went in to ask about our order. When walking in I realized there was another person at the counter as well. When I advised we'd been waiting 10 minutes the person I originally noticed confirmed the name for the order then advised they were out of the grape salad we'd order. This wasn't mentioned in the phone call nor was someone sent to advise us of this when we arrived. Unsure how long we'd have waited if I hadn't come in. I selected a different item. When we arrived home we also realized the cookie we purchased was not included in our order.
