I went to the location on the 6th of April, 2024. I ordered the hot hatch gorilla style quesadilla. Upon opening the box, I noticed that there was very little chicken on the tortilla. The tortilla was not put together correctly, meaning there were very few toppings. I spoke to Jacob, who claimed to be the manager, and he said to my face that nothing could be done about it. He said he knew the quesadilla had meat on them because he fixed them himself, which he lied about. I proceeded to ask him what that has to do with anything. I even opened up my plate to show him. I said, “Are you serious?” I showed him the food, and he said, “I can’t do anything about it.” I said well I need your regional number because I have never felt this way ever. I begin to get very irritated due to the way he spoke to me. This location needs attention and a new staff because I notice people of color get treated differently. I asked for a refund and he was talking to someone in the kitchen stating “she wants a refund” and he proceeded to say well I’m going to have to get your food. I told him that’s absolutely fine I just prefer a refund because I refuse to take this type of service when I’m the paying customer. The young guy Jacob was very hostile and aggressive. I will never visit this location ever again. The location has a bunch of childish individual who lack customer service and empathy. It start from the bottom I can only imagine. He was talking to the workers and everyone stopped to look and listen. I don’t know who made him a manager or leader but he attempted to embarrass me because I complained about my food I purchased with my hard earned money. As a leader/manager you are held to a higher standard but Jacob is not manager material. I will never go back to this location. I felt very humiliated. It appears they treat people this way thinking someone wants free food when the quality and quantity is horrible. The reviews speaks for itself, I’m not the only one.
Update: My husband decided to give it another try because I was craving it so badly. Lucas the manager is very respectful and he apologized for the prior experience we received. I will only go to this location when Lucas is working. The best time to go is during the day. I appreciate Kyle the CEO and Jacob the Area Leader for going above and beyond and allowing me and my family to give this location another chance. Lucas made our experience a positive one and we will definitely return. This is how you run your business simply because the customers are the ones who bring you the business. I’m all about respect regardless of the skin color. I respect all as long as it’s being reciprocated. We all should be able...
Read moreOk. So we stopped in because we had not tried this place before and the Drive Thru appeared busy. We entered and the selections all sounded good. After ordering, we went to sit down, but several spots were dirty and the entire dining area was freezing (think AC was on because vents were blowing cold air right at some if the tables).
So the order came out in pieces, with some of our family getting theirs quesadillas but not sides right away. The lady explained there was an error and the wrong quesadilla was made (she gave it to us for free because "...they didn't want to waste it.") The last quesadilla came out shortly after the sides.
The sides were mixed up and every quesadilla came with the same dip (1 was supposed to have buttermilk ranch, one jalapeno ranch, and 1 churry dip). The proportional size and cost for a "Gorilla" size seemed like they were over priced (pics show what I was expect a regular quesadilla would look like, not an "overstuffed" one as described on menu for Gorilla size).
The smoke brisket in the Lonestar was great. The Black and Bleu was just ok and the Gordo, my son was not a fan of (I tried it and it was kind of bland). The queso for the chips side was extremely salty and the toppings on the Gorilla Fries were slim.
We may try again, but not to eat in for sure due to cleanliness, freezing temps inside, and the level of service (was 630 on a Wednesday night). Am unsure if they would get a large order right in drive thru but if by myself I may try again because the Lonestar and Gorilla Fries were pretty good...
Read moreUpdate four years later: rating went from a 4 to a 5!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I ordered the lone Star and oh my gosh I have never had such a delicious quesadilla before. It had a sweet BBQ taste in the undertones along with a savory cilantro. It was sweet savory and the meat was juicy and the sweet onions really added another level. Dipped in the jalapeno ranch sauce, it was creamy and refreshing. The food was hot and fresh as well. The chips and salsa were delicious as well and I liked the sprinkling of the sweet BBQ flavored powder on the chips. The salsa was also fresh with a lot of cilantro and lime flavor. And even the cup of water they gave me seemed filtered and not out of the tap. If you've never been here and you're trying to find some new delicious food I would suggest it. The price is a little steeper than a normal Mexican food places but I think it's worth it.
First time here and I gotta say, theres a lot of menu options to choose from, to make the perfect quesadilla. I was able to snatch a free Dilla by entering my info on their fb page. I chose the steak and cheese. It was nice and hot, the steak was juicy and not at all tough. The cheese was gooey and stringy, and it came with a little salsa cup. The salsa had a nice mild heat to it, with lots of cilantro and tomato flavor. Normally this would be 7.49 plus tax. A little more than lets say, taco bell. But definitely tasted tons better ! I...
