My wife and I haven't had Chipotle in months, the last few times we had before that was at several other locations in McKinney Texas and the portion sizes were awful. When my wife who had had an accident and was across the street in the hospital finally got cleared to eat something, it was too late to get something from the hospital, and she didn't want me going far as they were watching her closely and preparing for an emergency C-section if anything from the accident affected our baby. I told her what was across the street, several places closing at 10:00 p.m. she was hesitant given the last few experiences we've had, but decided on chipotle. It was 9:47 p.m. when I walked out of Baylor Hospital to drive across the street and get our order and I was half expecting to have issues since it was so close to closing. I got there to get the food, I checked everything and was surprised to see the chip bag full how it used to be back when we first started eating at chipotle, the guacamole cup was full like how when we started eating at Chipotle years ago. I checked both our burrito bowls, plenty of rice and beans, lots of meat and we didn't even order extra, lots of sour cream cheese and guacamole. At this point I was feeling very lucky but then I was informed that the drinks that we ordered weren't available. Before I could answer what else we would like as a replacement the gentleman said don't worry about it let me go ahead and make it for you real quick. We both had gotten one of those flavored lemonade drinks, and again at other locations if they were out and you notified the staff they really didn't care even if it was in the middle of the day and you would think that they would keep making more as long as they had it available. It was so nice of him to do that, and it made my night not to have to call my pregnant wife knowing how she is about food right now and see what else you would like to drink. Once I got everything back to the hospital we both enjoyed our dinner and we're very pleasantly surprised. Over a month later around the dinner Time Rush we decided after doing our grocery shopping we would stop at that location and get something for dinner. Both of us had discussed whether or not we thought it would be as good of an experience as before or if we just happened to luck out especially since it was during dinner rush and it was quite busy. We have the same great experience, same great portion sizes that we were used to back when we both started eating at Chipotle years ago. I don't know if managers are companies or who all reads these reviews, but I hope you read this review and continue the great work and also take into consideration those who have shared pictures showing that this location has had similar issues as to other locations that we have visited as far as portion sizes and other things. We plan on stopping bye again soon when we're in the location for my wife's next doctor's appointment, and I have no doubt that when it comes time to be in the hospital and deliver that as long as everything has stayed the same that I will be coming across the street to get my wife and I dinner versus eating...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI LOVE Chipotle but this location has horrible customer service. I normally donāt leave negative feedback unless absolutely necessary. I have experienced poor customer service on several occasions at this location such as incorrect orders, small portions, rude staff; but the location is convenient so I keep going back. However my last experience will definitely change that! I ordered dinner for my family and went through the drive-through only to sit at the window for well over 10 minutes watching employees work. One young lady looked at me and smiled as she continued to put forks into a canister. I waited, patiently, thinking that she would come back and deliver my order or at least alert someone that I was waiting. There were a total of 4 employees working near the window filling orders and placing them on the rack that is directly near the window. Cars continued to pull up behind me, as I waited patiently. Finally, I decided to knock on the glass and ask for help. At that point I was greeted by an extremely rude worker asking me what did I want? I responded I want the food that I ordered. She then rudely responded āitās right hereā pointing to the rack without taking my name. When I told her that her service was unacceptable I was greeted by another worker and the manager telling me to lower my voice. I proceeded to tell the manager about my experience and pointed to the line of cars that were piled up behind me. He apologized and explained they are very busy but no yelling. As a customer I expect more. I expect to be acknowledged; and even when you are busy, you could have the common courtesy to open the window and let me know that there will be a slight delay. The interesting thing is my pick up time was it 5:00 and I came late at 5:30 so my food had been sitting there along with a lot of other orders. This last experience is unfortunately it for me. I will NOT be back at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA woman who later identified herself as āLupeā and as a ātrainerā was very rude after a newer employee put what she felt was too much barbacoa on a bowl I ordered. He explained that I had not requested a double portion and that the piece of meat was connected. The way she addressed him in front of me and other customers was rude. Then, when they made the Tacoās they did not even put them in bowl. Instead they were just wrapped and smashed up in a piece of foil. Finally, the salad I ordered was pathetic. There was barely any chicken or lettuce or cheese. It didnāt even half fill up the bowl. I told them to keep it. Iāve been going to Chipotle for close to 20 years and know a what a normal serving size should look like. Iāve also been to other Chipotle locations in DFW and this is the WORST!! When I told Lupe about how her communication with the trainee made me uncomfortable she double down on being rude. She asked me what I thought she should have done as the trainer. I told her to respectfully take him to the side to correct him. Then she was looking at me as if it was my fault a tiny bit more of meat was in the bowl. Then a gentleman stepped forward to identify himself as the manager. He was ok, but did not correct his employee. They should have name tags to identify their positions as well. If I could have properly identified the manager I would have addressed only him about Lupeās poor behavior, and bad customer service and no engaged her at all. So, I am writing this review to say the trainer needs some customer service training, and a $10 Salad should have more than one scoop of Lettuce 1/2 a spoon full of chicken and and 1/2 a spoon of cheese. I am posting a pic of the tacos. Not appetizing at all. This is not the first time Iāve gone to this location and witnessed managers/trainers be rude or unprofessional with customers and staff. It...
