Chop Sports McKinney — Restaurant in McKinney

I used to like this place, but I don’t think I’ll ever go back after tonight. First thing when we walked in it was WAY too loud (and I don’t usually mind a moderately loud sports bar/grill), we couldn’t even hear each other at our table. Most of the empty tables were super dirty, like chunks of food and napkins. The most shocking thing is that once the huddle of waitstaff shifted from the corner I saw what was making part of the noise…there was a woman laying face down on a table getting a tattoo 😳…in a restaurant. Is that even sanitary? That’s gotta be against some health code. Then we ordered burgers - add cheese and bacon, extra pickles. They legitimately came out with only bun, burger patty (which was cold), bacon, and a ridiculously large pile of pickles. All of the servers were again huddled around the tattoo artist and after maybe 5 minutes of trying to get the attention of our server (Braliegh), I flagged down a bartender and she walked over and got the attention of our server and pointed in our direction. She came over and I was extra nice (rule number 1 of not eating waiter spit) and let her know we were missing the mayo, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. She came out with the lettuce tomato and onion, but forgot the cheese and mayo. Once she came back with that, she said she’d bring us a menu and they would comp a dessert for us. We ate the cold burgers that were pretty bad. Now the servers were just all hanging out together at the bar. It again took flagging down another server to let her know we were ready to order the comped dessert. The dessert was ok. AGAIN we had to flag her down to ask for the check. I visited this place on 04/29 around 8:30pm and the waiter asked for a credit card right when we placed our drinks order. It did not raise any red flags but seemed super odd since it’s like a restaurant that allows kids until 11pm.

I got my credit card back around 9:30pm when we left. So, this place kept my credit for the full hour on this day which I think is something they could fully avoid.

On 05/07, a few days after my visit I notice a fraudulent charge of $400+ on this same credit card for some other thing. Almost all transactions after this visit are either online or used apple pay which is secure than handing over a physical card.

I don’t know who ended up using my card fraudulently or if this particular visit has anything to do with it but this place needs to revisit its policies and ensure people can just pay for their food&drinks at the end of...

Was excited to try out this new burger place but left disappointed. Me and my wife had gone for lunch and order the Buick (a patty melt) and the only reason why I put two stars instead of one was because my wife enjoyed her patty melt. Unfortunately I was not able to due to the sand which coming with spicy Mayo on it which is not listed on the menus that were provided to us to order with, and I know some people would be okay with that on their sandwich, for me it would have left me in the bathroom for hours. I would have had our server ask to remake the order without the Mayo on it but by the time they came back to our table to check on us we had already run out of time and had to ask for the check to leave.
