I've tried to wait until I was herena little minute to give an honest of a review as possible. Ive been here since November 2024 and I will start by saying as someone who downsized from a house to an apartment the unit and property are nice overall. It's been forever since I have ever lived in an apartment so I did ask about the process and fees etc to see what was my quickest option because I wanted to move quickly if possible. But my initial experience deserves ZERO stars. I did my app on a special of if you applied or something you got some type of deal...long story short I toured, picked the apartment I liked, did the app paid the fees etc. I was approved conditionally and when I asked what that meant I was told "oh a 3rd party does our credit checks" I was told to pay a full months rent as a deposit and I was shocked because I knew I had great credit. I begin to ask more questions as to the criteria of how the decision was made and someway between them or the 3rd party was told that it was because of charge offs. I explained to them that I didnt have any charge offs and ultimately was told they cant do anything about the misinformation, whatever the 3rd party says they have to go with and I can reach out to them but it could take 30 days...(which I didnt have)...so when I looked into the 3rd party company they had a 1 star review with HUNDREDS of people with the same story of having great credit and being denied homes or other things because of their misinformation. This was so frustrating because I paid so much more for a deposit than I should have and I just felt like they didn't even care that the company was providing misinformation. So for me that already had me rubbed the wrong way. but whatever, paid the deposit and moved in...everything is fine overall... Then there have been several times as a new tenant where I have had questions about where things are or just any questions in general and Emma has to be the most incompetent person because she answered NONE of them and just rambled in circles leaving me more confused than before I asked the question. The newest thing that has prompted this review is the fact that I paid part of my rent early and I go in to pay the remaining balance and it's more than what my rent is. So I call the office to ask why from yesterday to today is the amount that I pay monthly more. Lauren proceeds to tell me "it's because my water hasnt been billed and it doesnt get billed until 60 days later" and so I have my water charges just now being added on there from November...huh????? I continue to question that because that doesnt make any sense...every month on the portal it shows water charges so now you're trying to tell me that I never paid for water, that can't be true. Then she proceeds to tell me not to look at the portal because that information isnt accurate and to look in my email from a company called conservice (or something like that) and that's where I will see my billing break down and receipts. again...HUHHHH??? When was someone going to tell me to expect an email from them, and that the portal wasnt accurate etc etc. and im expressing to her that this is frustrating because I made my partial payment based on what I wanted to make the remaining payment and now I cant even make the remaining payment because it not correct even though the portal is saying the same thing my lease and every other document I have says. This is just so frustrating and I am so exhausted with the communication of the staff...like this should not be so stressful. I am beyond pissed about this. The only reason I give the 2 stars is because maintenance help greatly with an electrical issue that was going on in my unit. But effective communication is almost non existent for this to be the place you pay to live. I've recommended people here who planned to move here soon but I almost want to tell them don't do it. This are not simple overlooks and to blow it off as if it's not a big deal is again making me just question the integrity of this place just like with the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis property is beautiful but the customer service I experienced on two separate occasions, within two weeks, was less than satisfactory. The leasing agent(s) were preoccupied with conversation and uninterested in giving a tour. After my first visit when I was told they didnāt have any brochures or paperwork listing floor plans or information and that they had someone else coming in for a move in and couldnāt do a tour, I called the listed number just to get my questions answered, the person at the call center was extremely helpful, kind and provided me information that could have been given to me during the 20 minutes I was in the leasing office with little to no help. I will say that when I arrived just before 10am - 9:56 to be exact - I was told by the agent at her computer that they were not open yet, which I totally understood, and had no problem waiting the 4 minutes until the property was technically opened. When she did get back with me I was told I could get a tour after she made a phone call, and then several minutes later I was told she could not do a tour due to āsomeone coming to move-inā. She was not the only person in office so I thought that was strange but it was fine, I moved on and decided I would come back in another day. Ironically, after my call to the call center I was called back later that day by the same woman I saw in the office who stated they received my info and wanted to do a tour. I let her know I was there earlier and while I can respect them being unavailable I felt her service was cold, uninviting and unhelpful. On my second visit, which was today while there were two agents at the desk the service was just as unhelpful. They were both talking with a third person, I was told I couldnāt do a tour because someone else was coming in for a āscheduled tourā. While I did not have an appointment, I was there for 30 minutes (using the ladies room, looking at the common areas and walking around the 1st floor hallways) I noticed no one came to do this āscheduled tourā. Appointment or not, this should not be an excuse for such poor service on not one but two different occasions, and at $2400 - $2600 a month for a two bedroom apartment, I think this type of service - or lack there of - is unacceptable.
āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Update: After this negative experience, the property Assistant manager Brittany reached out to me via phone. She went through the trouble of finding my number from the call I made to the call center when I was looking for information on availability. She was kind, understanding, asked questions, watched the video of the two days I came by and went to every effort to get to the bottom of the cause for my experiences and apologized. She offered give me a tour of the property even on a day she didnāt work if she had to. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, cared for and the exact opposite of how I felt this first two times I visited the property. I also received an apology from one of the ladies that were there the second time I visited to the property. While on the tour we ran into several of the tenants who were kind, friendly and Brittany knew them by name which I thought was sweet. Brittany not only toured with we once but three times as I narrowed all my options in the area, she answered all of my many questions and was patient as I made my decision. She showed me nothing but kindness, patience, and an all around good time each time Iāve been there. Sheās very knowledgeable, engaged with the tenants, and focused on ensuring each personās experience on the property is positive. I appreciate her and the efforts sheās taken to change my initial experiences. While I canāt forget how I felt during those initial visits I will say I would recommend the property because of her and how she handled the entire situation and if she were to work at another property, Iād want to live there too! Thank you to Brittany and the property manager Sammi for working to change my experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEdit/update: the neighbors and the staffing here are great. Also the location of the community is very convenient for an active lifestyle. It took me some months to see how things go but I have decided to up my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Granted I have an apartment with a superb location, south facing, top floor, direct access to elevator and garage otherwise groceries and daily access would be a toll. I still wish they would explain the layout and do better walk-thrus . Just found a hidden mini gym in one of the hallways on my floor š āļø like whhhhatt? Haha ---ā---------------------------------------------------- [Original post:] I'd like to preface that no matter what goes wrong with an apartment complex/ company be it the process, the literal mechanics or something to do with the 3rd parties that service it the impression left with the people who spend their hard earned money to live their is what should matter. We choose to live in a place. I WANT to pay money to get good CUSTOMER service and amenities. Is it really too much to ask to atleast have a positive experience even if it was a difficult one?
So now that I've said my intro Respectfully, Don't move here until they complete the management company buyout.
You'll get official emails that don't accurately reflect pricing quotes for move in (hey I paid less so that was a win atleast)
You can only have 1 vehicle registered if you're the sole occupant so if you have any life event where you switch out vehicles and still only have one on property your still S.O.L. You will have to pay for a parking spot for a vehicle that might not even be on site that month)
I know not to expect PhD level diplomacy from the leasing office but don't expect them to go the extra mile either. Left driving in circles (literally) to finish moving. just let people know "do x,y,z and if that fails please come back to the office for assistance" and/orlet them know there are some issues but there is a solution they just need to go through step 1 first. sigh
So long story short, there were some issues on the office front end but more importantly this brand new building has some interesting maintenance issues. Within one week I had the bathtub faucet head fall off because it was only caulked on. After the repair it doesnt even fit the hole in the shower tiles and has 0 caulking. Im really not in the mood for mold or water damage. I might have to run to home depot myself to make sure it is sealed correctly. Also, The pipes under the sink incorrectly align up. Water ruined some of my items. So with those at home issues it worries me when leaving apartment that I also don't notice any elevator inspection sticker. Think long and hard before moving into this...
