NEVER order here during dinner rush and NEVER do delivery! They just threw everything into the bag, it was leaking. I ordered their lasagna, no ricotta, with side meatballs, mushrooms and marinara they served the lasagna with ricotta (and I'm allergic to ricotta) I expected there to be an individual container for the meatballs, but nope, they threw it into the container with my lasagna, they also threw that piece of bread into the bag without any container, had to get my own bowl to set it up how I wanted it, the bread was cold and soggy. Overall flavor is just eh, I've worked in Italian food restaurants for two years now and I'm disappointed. I decided to eat the meatballs and not risk it with the lasagna, I am getting an allergic reaction in my throat already. If you got allergies, please be careful, they should've just called me to change my order, but they didn't put the ingredients on their website or any others. I know when it's dinner time, it's difficult, but you must prioritize what the customer wants/needs and put thought and care into the orders. Even if you're going slower than usual, you're making sure the order is correct, it saves more time and more money if you don't mess up. Period.

So Googlers, I know now that I live in the country, Princeton, that I would stop reviewing. Wrong! So my favorite food is Italian. So when I read that Sicily's Pizza & Pasta is where the, 'Real Italianians go' I had to. Sorry to say, 'molto deluso'. The appetizer, the Home Bread, was recommended by our friendly waitress. Soggy tomatoes on some sort of bread with sliced white cheese. Molto Deluso! I ordered the Eggplant w/ Italian sausage and my wife the Chicken Alfredo. My dish was passable. But my wife's Alfredo was watery. I've tasted better alfredo and red sauce out of a jar on aisle 6 at Kroger. And that's the main problem here. The food lacked flavor, color and imagination. My wife commented the her Alfredo was just boring white. Peas, scallions, hell parsley! I know a ton of people go here and that it's a McKinney institution. Maybe it's the pizza? We will try that on the next visit, cause everyone deserves a second chance.

This place exceeded expectations. I like to order eggplant parmesan, but I did the chicken parmesan with pink sauce. I ate everything! Can't get enough of the pink sauce. Husband got the sausage hot sub. Loved it. He's Sicilian, so he knows his food. This place is a gem. They've been around since the 90's, so you know they're good. Clara is awesome. Greeted us at the door, asked our seating preference and got drinks and bread right away. Every step of the process, Clara was great. Asking how we liked the food, checking for refills, etc. No photo of the tiramisu, we ate that so fast, by the time I remembered we needed to get a photo we were on the last bite.

Today was my first visit and I guess I expected something more from the great rating that this establishments has online. Unfortunately I was treated to a really sub-par lunch. First impression was good, typical Italian-American style dining room, stereotypical Italian music playing, nice aroma in the air. Unfortunately the good ended here. I ordered an ice tea and the red plastic cup that it was served in had a ring of scuzz around the top lip on the inside. I think it's time to get the dishwasher serviced. I noticed the same coating on the silverware that was provided to me. Service was friendly, although not very prompt. I will dive deeper into this in a moment. My wife ordered Tortellini alla Panna and I chose the Ziti with meat sauce. I should have known something was up when the food arrived very quickly. The ziti were extremely overcooked, I think what the kitchen does is to pre-cook the pasta, portion, refrigerate and then place in boiling water once an order is placed to bring it back up to temperature. There is nothing wrong with this, unless you leave it in the water too long before or after refrigeration. I believe that what was served was left too long to cook at both stages as it would fall apart on my fork when trying to pick it up. Also this caused it to be extremely mushy, to a point were it was not even edible. The sauce was ok-ish. Typical sauce that is ordered at any non-Italian owned Italian themed restaurant. I must say that the portions are really big, enough for two meals. My wife seemed to enjoy her meal, but it was quite a while before our waitress returned to check on us. She asked how everything was and I responded with an "eh". No further inquiries were made and she went on her way back to chat with the other servers. It was slow, so I could not really blame her, although there was still a table behind us that needed to be bussed and set up for then next round of customers. Our waitress returned once again to see if we needed anything else and we asked for a take home box, she asked if we wanted two, but said that one would be fine. Once we had my wife's food boxed up she asked if everything was OK with my meal (I may have had a total of five bites) and I informed her that the pasta was extremely overcooked and told me I should have said something as I could have gotten something else. I don't think there was anything else I could have wanted as most likely all the other pasta dishes would have been overcooked in the same fashion. Honestly there are several more authentic Italian restaurants in the area. I do recommend this place if you enjoy cafeteria quality food with lukewarm service. Also I was still charged for my barely eaten...

It is not authentic Italian food I have had really extremely good authentic Italian food and there’s is ok but not great or good in my opinion you would be better off eating at home. and as far as family friendly atmosphere if lack of colors on everything and kids running around the restaurant like screaming branches screaming I am bored there is nothing to do and they don’t even have a menu I can color on here family friendly then yes it is definitely family friendly if you can tolerate screaming children while eating and having a migraine before you even leave the restaurant. It is so cramped that when people walk to there table you are always getting bumped into. The bathrooms are not clean and I think porter potties are probably cleaner if anything they are closer to a porter potty then a restroom even then I think that is an insult to porter potties. Food was not hot in fact it was closer to if someone took the food out of the fridge and put it in the microwave for less then 1 minutes everything is prepackaged and frozen until served which is already not authentic at all and they call it fresh authentic Italian food which couldn't be farther from the truth even if they tried. and the we ate there was so cold like it came from the fridge that it was definitely not up to health code standards if I were to recommend anything it would be to not go to sicily’s and make the food you want from there at home instead you are less likely to end up with food poisoning or getting sick from something you eat or drink there. I got a migraine from the screaming children and loud atmosphere in the restaurant within less then 5 minutes of walking through the door. And the less then clean smell in the restaurant was so bad at one point when we went there to give them a second chance we had to just walk out cuz it made us so sick to our stomachs we almost threw up when we walked...
