The quality of the sushi here is superb. I've had the smoked salmon nigiri, salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, and yellow tail nigiri along with a few of the special rolls (I recommend the Baked Ida Roll if you like the more mild rolls like I do) and none of them had the fishy aftertaste that comes with low quality sushi grade fish. In terms of quality the nigiri here is top notch and the rolls are slightly under the quality of Shiawase at 121 and Lake Forest. The kicker is that everything here is a fraction of the cost of Shiawase. They also have some delicious oriental drinks and snacks that you can find at an Asian market (like Jusgo World Asian Market near Legacy and 75) near the counter which are just above supermarket prices, but much more convenient than walking in and buying them separate.
Sushi Go lives up to its name when it comes to delivery. There's a small seating area for about 4 groups of 4 with some wooden chairs and tables prompting quick visits, and that's perfectly fine. If you want to sit down and eat some reasonably priced sushi there's plenty of places for that; for example, Wasabi up the road at Eldorado and Highway 75, though I find their quality isn't on par with Sushi Go's sushi, but they do have slightly cheaper prices. There's only a few delivery and to-go sushi restaurants, and Sushi Go fits this roll very well. If you want a high quality night out and you have a wad of money burning a hole in your pocket, I'd check out Shiawase as they have a great atmosphere. If you're looking for specials, Wasabi can't be beat on Wednesday when they have a very small selection of rolls for half off. For anything else, I'd recommend Sushi Go.
In terms of customer service, it's extraordinary. I've been here for pickup quite a few times and every time the staff was very friendly. My first visit they took time to explain a few popular rolls to me when I said I was new and didn't know the menu. I've only ever had two issues and they were resolved easily and in a friendly way. One time they had a backlog of orders during the dinner rush and I had to wait a bit longer than I expected, but that's normal for food service and they apologized several times about the wait. Another visit they accidentally made the wrong roll for me as the two rolls were very similar. As soon as they saw the problem (well before I noticed it) they apologized, gave me the roll for free, and quickly made the roll I asked for.
In quick summary: The food is excellent quality for the price. I recommend getting your order to-go or delivery, though you can dine in. The staff is friendly and quick to fix any mistakes that come up. The quality of the fish is near Shiawase level (very good) at just above Wasabi prices...
Read moreI usually never leave reviews, but I felt like this was very deserved. Thank you Fiza for a superb experience! My daughter and I had come in and ordered four poke bowls (All which were absolutely delicious by the way). We had to make many modifications on the bowls due to the pickiness of my kids, and the cashier at the counter was more than happy to assist us. She handled all the modifications like a champ, and was smiling and laughing along with us as well. After chatting with her for a bit, we waited for our order which took barely any time at all. Upon seeing the order on the table, I realized that the chef spoke very little English, so it was a little difficult for him to properly understand everything. After seeing a slip of paper next to our packed up order, we realized that she was kind enough to physically draw out a picture of the order and labeled it with all additions for the chef, which made it a lot easier for him to understand. She handled the situation like a pro, and every single order of ours was correct! I had asked for her name upon leaving, which I believe was Fiza. Never do I see such acts of kindness and cheery attitudes anymore, and this was very refreshing to see. She without a doubt made our experience very pleasant, and we will for sure return (Plus the food was superb)! If you go in and are greeted with a young girl with a cheery attitude, you’re in luck! Thank you Fiza, for making not only our food great, but our experience along with it. I...
Read moreSWEETEST PEOPLE that work there, but I'm sorry, as long as that place has been there, it has not been cleaned once. I wanted to take pictures, but i was on date night, and trying not to focus on it, but we ordered our rolls, paid. I went to the bathroom, and the bathroom was so vile, I came back out and asked my husband if we could please just leave. I'm not taking about a little bit of dirt or dust, it was mud, and inches of filth, which made me feel like behind the counter was super unsanitary. The smell was rotten. All sushi places have a smell, but it smelt vile, before i even walked in, and I told my husband, I think this is a bad idea. It is so filthy, it needs to be power washed, and like a deep industrial cleaning, the entire store. We got the rolls, they tasted like Kroger sushi. Not bad, but not great, the sauce the put on it, I'm not sure what was in it, but I had a severe allergic reaction. About 15 min after consuming, my stomach immediately, drastically became so bloated I looked 7 months pregnant. I'm 98 lbs, and i legit looked 7 months pregnant. However, i do have lupus and it could of been a reaction to something I shouldn't of ate, that I did. Again, the people are so sweet, I feel so bad, but that is the most filthy disgusting place i think I've ever eaten in my life. They really need to clean it, I'm assuming all the good reviews, did not get to see the conditions of the inside Please clean this place for sanitary reasons it's very important a...
