King Donuts — Restaurant in McKinney

Not worth the drive. This morning I passed up several donut shops to come to this one for the cronut holes and I remember the service being great. Its Mother Day and I wanted to treat myself to good donuts and coffee. I drove all the way from 380 to spend $21 on donuts and terrible service. When it was time to pay I was looking at what all I got and the owner tried to take my card to hurry up and pay. Her reasoning was because the system will time out. I was taken back and asked if ownership had changed because it was such a difference from the service I got in the past that had me driving all the way from 380 for over priced donuts. Replying to the person at the bottom (named “it’s me”) as I don’t have access to the business email at the moment, but from someone who was working while this was happening, we were at the rush hour peak and were trying our best to get people in and out. We apologize you didn’t receive the service you last remembered but I don’t think it’s fair that you left out the fact that you requested for 4 hot fresh kolaches when we usually try to sell the ones that were out first. Super cute decor inside. The donuts are fantastic. Everytime I visit my sister in McKinney I have to stop by and pick up a dozen donuts for us. The chocolate glaze is my favorite. Love the bts and kpop stuff inside and the adorable plushies are so cute. You just feel happy walking in, they have such a great vibe. The cashier was so sweet, she threw in a couple of extra donut holes and even gifted my preschooler a cute toy flute. How sweet is that!? Great service, great food and great atmosphere.
