Some what new to the area and a few friends and I decided to order Chinese food to deliver to us at the pool where I live. Not knowing whatās going to be good and whatās not we just googled restaurants near me and this was the first be to come up and the only one not closing at 9:30 pm (it was about 9:25 pm when we decided to order food) - From the moment they answered the phone to the moment we said bye to the delivery man was just a very pleasant experience. They were so friendly and patient (we are all servers so each of us getting our cash to pay him and mainly paying in $5s and $1s) was a bit of a circus but this delivery man just stood there smiling and just so patient. We ordered the food about 9:30 pm and they were at the pool with our food about 9:50 - the portions were HUGE (we ordered 4 different dinner specials which came with the main course, fried rice and giant egg rolls) and the cost was very small - we were surprised by the amount of food we received, and by the amount of time it took them to bring it to us (nervous it may not taste great) but let me tell you, this place was outstanding!!!! Food was absolutely delicious š; hands down one of the best Chinese food restaurants Iāve ever tried. The food was so fresh and the beef in the lo mein practically melted in your mouth. We each tried one anotherās dishes and came to the conclusion that no matter what u ordered; from the beef, to the shrimp, to the chicken, each one was just as good as the other. I canāt wait to order from here again and again and again!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time ordering food here. I really enjoy getting food in the paper boxes so I requested the lo mein in one. They said they couldnāt deliver it as it might leak so if I wanted the paper box I would need to pick it up. This didnāt make any sense as I would home my food would stay upright until it reaches me but whatever, I went to pick it up. While there I ordered another lo mein and the bourbon chicken and extra white rice. They tried to give these in the plastic cartons. I requested the paper boxes again and they seemed flustered. All my life I had gotten Chinese food in the boxes. Working at two different Chinese restaurants in my younger years, we always packaged to g orders in the boxes. Only since moving to Texas 13 years ago have I seen these plastic cartons. They took the food back and put it in the boxes for me but kept saying things like, āit will leakā and āyou can microwave the plastic.ā News flash, you can microwave the paper too and the plastic chemicals wonāt leach into my food! Got all the way home, a fifteen minute 12 mile drive, and lo and behold, nothing leaked! Amazing. Five stars because the food was hot and delicious!!! Price for quantity and quality was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI havenāt lived in this area in 10 yrs so Iām getting back familiar using reviews and social media etc and actually saw this place on TikTok. I donāt know if maybe my expectations are just high because of the reviews or what! Hadnāt come to Google reviews to see the 3.8 that may have changed my mind, but anywho I ordered the house special fried rice, wontons, and chicken wings. The chicken wings may have been ok. I tasted some flavor but they were fried and then double fried and then probably fried AGAIN because they were so dark and hard. Not crispy and golden but almost burnt and they tasted like old grease definitely werenāt fresh but refried old wings. The crab rangoons were literally JUST a smear of cream cheese on a wonton wrapper and folded over then fried. Thatās it! The rice was good though actually. The rice and 2 big pieces of shrimp almost were on the verge of mushy though. Lots of those little pork pieces and an ok amount of chicken but definitely only had 2 big shrimp throughout the whole thing. I may try the St. Louis shrimp fried rice one day, but thatās it. For some reason all my pics didnāt save but I did get...
