Went there today (27th of August)!, had my usual Apricot Chicken Salad, which was incredibly tasty, and my Hubby had the Red Thistle Burger, which was also very tasteful. He also got the Garlic Aioli. Waitress extremely friendly! Hands up GVB🍴🍽🍴🌝

Went today 16th of July, had my Apricot Walnut Chicken Salad., and as always super delicious! Brian was our waiter, very nice and attentive. Hands up for GVB McMinnville.

Went there again on Sat.30th of Sept. Had a junior cheeseburger with fries and garlic aioli, hubby had the Walnut Apricot Chicken Salad ( which btw. is my all time favorite). The food was incredibly delicious and our waitress was extremely nice (Kylie, you deserve a raise 👌⚘️). We love GVB Also took home a four pack of Red Thistle cheese sausages yum 😋 Just came out!

Again today 6th of Dec.2023 Had my Burger with Fries, Hubby had Steak, super delicious! We had one of the nicest waitresses (Pauline) ☺️ Always great food and our tummies are happy 😊 Great Job GVB 👏 👍 👌

Went there today 21st of March! Had my Burger with Fries and hubby had ital. wrap with fries. Both as always super delicious! Extremely nice waiter! We love this place! Keep up the good everything!!!

1st of June! Had my Burger with Fries and Hubby got a Steak petite. Both dishes were super delicious and our waitress Lexi was super friendly. Thx GVB for a delicious meal and super staff, not to forget to give a shoutout to the chefs and kitchenstaff. Thx for doing such a grat job 👌👏👨‍🍳👨‍🍳👍

10th of September! Again, had my Burger (Junior) with Fries and Hubby had Steak petite with Veggies and Rice. Both delicious as always. Super nice waitress. Again, thanks GVB for serving us great delicious food 😋 👏👌

23rd of March 2025 Had delicious Lunch today, as always. Apricot Walnut Salad with crispy chicken. Thanks to Paige, who made sure,we got the crunchy chicken with our salads. Such a nice, attentive waitress 👏👍 We love GVB, and would recommend to anyone, who wants fresh! Thanks GVB ♥️

15th of June Father's day

Got a free beer mug 🍺 for Father's Day We had a delicious lunch Lexy was our waitress, very friendly young young lady. I had the cheese sausages, with sides, we ordered the Gorgonzola steak bites. Yummy food 😋

The service was terrific. The atmosphere was lovely.

I had a oatmeal stout out of the nitro tap and it was amazing. My wife had the peach cider and that was the best cider I have ever had hands down.

Their menu touts their relationship with Carlton farms where I buy a lot of my meat and that company produces amazing products.

My wife and I shared an apatizer of chicken skewers with a penute sauce on the side and a sweet chili sauce on the side and it was to die for. The sweet chili sauce is very high above standard.

I had the ribs, the meat fell off the bone and the sauce was wonderful. The fries are good a step above normal fries. The only miss for me was the cole slaw. It was average at best.

My wife had the Oregon burger. Normally I would say a burger is a burger. Maybe they put some better onions, fancy greens or something else but for the fine people at Golden Valley it was the patty. So much flavor, it was tender and delicious. A little more prep before the cook to give it a crispy exterior with a soft interior and it would have been out of this world.

An interesting side note. They have a rib eye steak that was dry aged at Carlton Farms. I did almost order it but spending that much for a quick lunch would have been insane.

I am going back next week for dinner and getting that dry aged rib eye. I will update when I go back.

Overall the meal was wonderful, the people were great the beer was the star.

I wish they had a few $10 options, this would be my go to for a relaxing date if it was a little cheaper but they raise the meat. I feel I should increase my budget for these wonderful people.

Never ever have I ever been dissapointed coming here. On 1/8 we came in a little on the later side but that changed absolutely nothing. Here's the scene. Four people walk in on a dark rainy night. They are close to soaked from dashing five blocks after leaving a establishment that has almost ruined there family diner night. The disappointment on there face the staff doesnt let them stand there and sulk. Oh no, they rush over with a huge smile and genuine hello and seats them at a booth of their choice. After just enough time to get settled in, the hero in disguise, aka Ashley, swoops in and proceeds to save the citizens night in distress. Cleary, three adult beverages are needed now. And for the young lady? Dr.Pepper will tend to her Friday night blues. Now that they are safe, out of the storm and in good spirits, lets get some food for them. Pulled pork sandwich for one, street tacos for the louder bald one, oyster diner for the lady and fish and chips for the young lady. Everything and I mean everything was perfectly prepared and assembled for our citizens. Huge placo battered oysters with no excess oil from the frying. Perfectly cooked and seasoned veggies that are crisp but not crunchy. Two choices of dipping sauce because heros always make sure you are taken care of. Pulled pork you would sware just came off the smoker. Tender and and juicy with a vinegar based sauce sweet and tangy enough to to make you smile away any bad night. Fish and chips the queen her self would talk about on her Instagram feed. And our hero in disguise, always watching, saved the night with exemplary service and heros wit. Thanks Golden Valley....
