⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I ever go missing, check The Vanilla Bean Baking Co. — I’m probably living in the kitchen, covered in crumbs, and refusing to leave.
My fiancé, his mom, and I came in looking for breakfast. We left in a committed relationship with every item we ordered.
Let’s break down the brunch explosion that rocked our world: 🥓 Two maple bacon sausage biscuits — so good I almost proposed to one. 🧀 A cheese Danish that was flakier than my ex and 1,000 times more satisfying. 🍋 A lemon coffee cake that made Lisa do the closed-eye slow chew of pure bliss. 🍫 A turtle scone — it had chocolate, caramel, AND pecans. Like a dessert got a PhD. 🍳 An Italian breakfast casserole that made us question why we even own a stove. ☕️ A 16 oz Sunday Brunch iced coffee that tasted like a cinnamon roll cuddled your taste buds. 🤍 A 24 oz white mocha iced coffee that was so smooth it could've been cast as a love interest in a Netflix rom-com.
Total cost? $50. That's right. FIFTY. For all that glorious, hand-crafted deliciousness. I’ve spent more at the gas station and left with nothing but regret and a melted candy bar.
Shoutout to Kaylee, who helped me choose the perfect biscuit/Danish/coffee combo. She was sweet, funny, and sparkled like cinnamon sugar in human form. And major love to the super chill guy who made our coffee and chatted with us — kind, welcoming, and clearly a wizard because that drink was perfection.
Oh! And get this — the owner makes adorable handmade earrings too. I came in for breakfast and left happy, full and with cake shaped earrings. The power this woman holds? Unreal.
Basically, if you haven’t been to The Vanilla Bean Baking Co., go now. Don’t walk — cartwheel. Bring stretchy pants, a camera for your food, and maybe a lawyer, because once you try that biscuit, you’re gonna want...
Read moreCoffee was ok, wish used actual caramel instead of syrup huge difference in taste. Cupcakes were very good. Surprised by chocolate cupcake; was very happy with the it being more moist than dry. Too many places chocolate cake/cupcakes are so dry. Must say not has moist has my mom’s chocolate cake however still better than many places. Would go back to get same baked items and try new. Cute place. Staff were very nice. I think the owner or main baker person came out to put items in case was bit surprise that didn’t get a hi or any acknowledgment from that person when I was right there and only customer in at time, would think especially if owner or manger type of role would have gave more attention/appreciation of a customer, which is normally more of what you see in a small town/small business like this. Overall would return and worth a stop if...
Read moreSo glad I "googled coffee shop near me" while almost driving through/passed McMinnville. What a charming gem of a coffee shop. All the baked goods look so delicious, but I settled on the scone. It was by far the best scone I have ever eaten. They will offer to warm it up too.... just the right temperature... I also learned that a scone should be eaten from opposite of the point...I was not steered wrong :) - it was perfect! Also, left my purse behind and had to turn around 1 1/2 hours away. The owner even tried to reach me many ways too! She met me back at the shop after closing time... Small town charm, delicious coffee, delicious scone. If I am ever in the area again, I...
