7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Meadow Vale

I’m a loyal fan of 7Brew and have always had great experiences until last night. My partner and I visited the 7Brew location off Westport Rd around 9:37 PM. Although there was a small line, we weren’t concerned, as the posted hours clearly state the location is open until 10:00 PM. We waited patiently in line, assuming we’d be served like usual. However, around 9:48 PM, we overheard a staff member say, "Go ahead and take that car (referring to the vehicle in front of us), and then tell the rest of them we are closed and to go home." Moments later, a team member approached our car and told us, "Sorry guys, we are closed," despite it still being well before 10 PM. Not only were we turned away, along with two other vehicles behind us, but we also watched as the car ahead of us was served. This inconsistency was frustrating and felt unprofessional. If the store isn’t accepting orders after a certain time, the hours should be updated accordingly on your website and Google listing, or your staff should be instructed to honor the posted times. We left without drinks, having wasted our time and gas, which is disappointing from a business we’ve supported consistently. I understand that team members may want to wrap up their shifts, but in the service industry, customers should be served until official closing time, especially those already in line. This is my go to coffee shop. Coffee is good and employees are always very nice and helpful. I went Wednesday of last week and unfortunately we was in line for 28 minutes (no kidding) before we pulled up to order. At one point we thought about just leaving being we had an appointment somewhere, but you're pretty much stuck in line with a bunch of cars behind and beside you. For some reason the right lane was going faster. We had cars that got there after us, just passing us in the first lane. We sat and sat and waited, was frustrating seeing all those cars passing in the other lane moving at a decent rate and it takes us that long to get up to the girl taking orders. I did notice the girl in lane two was walking back, taking orders in advance ( a chic fil a thing) which obviously helped a lot. They didn't seem to be short staffed, we counted...

Update 9/16: again this location has made simple mistakes that really should not happen. On top of it. I sat for close to 5 to 10 min while they bs with the only other car and could not get service. There was spare personnel inside the building no one came out. I am just done with location.

I love 7 brew, this location is good, however this particular location has made mistakes on my order the last couple of times and I get the same thing. There is a difference between orange and mango. Easy to confuse but still should not...
