My family and I are from out of town. When visiting, we called this local pizza hut and asked if they delivered to the Holiday Inn Express right up the road from where we were staying. The first representative said they do NOT. I was shocked because the pizza hut was literally 3mi from the hotel. I called back a second time and asked if they delivered to a different representative. She asked for the address of the Holiday Inn Express where we were staying. She informed me that they do indeed deliver there. I chose not to order from this establishment because there is only ONE Holiday Inn Express on this side of town, they had no knowledge of the hotel and continued asking for the address after I had given it to them. Then the representative asked how to spell the name of the road "Conneaut Lake Road", which is the exact same road that the pizza hut is located on. To be unaware of local businesses around your establishment, not knowing how to spell the name of the road your establishment is located on, and to have 2 seperate representatives tell me no they don't deliver and then they do deliver shows a lack of professionalism, intelligence and knowledge of the local area in which they chose to operate. I chose not to even order a meal from here due to these factors. I felt if they couldn't spell the street name that maybe they would mistake my pepperoni for sausage because they didn't know how to spell something simple in their inventory and local freezer. I also chose to not order because they were not cohesive as a team in communicating which could in turn cause problems for delivery to my room or even my order in general. Read moreMy husband and I ordered 2 pizzas online at 5:45 pm on a Thursday. The confirmation screen said it would be ready between 6:20 and 6:30 we arrived at the pick up window at 6:35. We were told our food wasn't ready yet, they didn't know how much longer it would be and to wait in the parking lot. We have only been here once before and waited a long time in the drive thru then behind a few other cars, so we were not familiar with customs for what to do if this should happen. So we waited 15 minutes. Finally my husband called to say he would have to come back because I had to get to work. He notified the employee that we had already waited 15 minutes past when we arrived which was 20 minutes past the later estimated ready time. And that the current time since the order was placed was now almost an hour. My husband and also my ex-husband have worked for other pizza chains and honestly an hour, no matter how busy is too long to wait. Finally the employee informed us that our food was actually ready shortly after we arrived. The frustrating thing is she could have told us that from the start and the guy at the window should have told us that we'd have to drive back around, but instead he just told us to wait, so we thought they would bring it out when it was ready. So, bottom line, terrible customer service and don't count on having your food when they estimate because you're probably going to still have to wait. Read moreThey CONSTANTLY forget to bring plates and only season the crust half the time. The pizza itself is consistently good, though. The driver, Scott, never gets out of his car and wants you to come retrieve your food out of his car window. They usually get your food to you quickly.
Edit: Had Scott as a delivery driver again. He brought plates and everything this time, so that's all well and good. But, he pulled into my place of business like a bat out of hell, doing about 25-30 in a 10 mph zone. And he still just hands you your order through his car window. He was yelling at a resident through his window that he wanted to "pull in there," referring to pulling right in front of the building. Now, this man is elderly and wheelchair bound. Scott needs retraining or to be let go because he's atrocious.
Edit #2: Today, I had Scott for a driver again. Got the pizza and everything in a timely manner, which is great. But AGAIN, no plates! He blamed the person that packed the food in the bag instead of taking responsibility and checking, like he should have done. I'm not pre-tipping their drivers again.
