Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Mebane

I placed an online drive through order. When I pulled into the drive through I was told that I HAD to come inside because that is their policy. Why was I able to place an online drive through order then? After I explained that I was not coming in due to a physical issue that I currently have, the teen girls at the drive through window began snickering, rolled their eyes and started mumbling who knows what. I asked them to please bring my order out to me just like they had the previous person in front of me in line and it was like the world was coming to an end. The “manager on duty” told me she didn’t have to serve me anymore, accusing me of calling people names, etc., etc. And as I expected, the food was wrong. No sauces, cold chicken tossed in the wrong sauce, cold loaded fries with no bacon or ranch, cold bread, and no napkins or utensils. This place needs new management ASAP! The people running this place are despicable at best. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Unfortunately, this is what I have come to expect these days. Very few people take pride in what they are doing. At least try to do your job half way...

Sorry to say I had bad service at the Mebane, NC location. I arrived at the drive-thru and was about to order when the recorded voice asked if I would like to try their Ranchero salad. Not being familiar with it I asked what was in it. A real person came on and said "it's on the menu board" in a voice that told me they really didn't care. First of all I didn't have my glasses with me and since there wasn't any cars behind me I didn't feel it was an issue. I said never mind and ordered another salad and chips. The young lady who took my payment was very nice and just by the voice I knew it was not the OTHER associate.

The staff here are friendly. The place is always clean. The salads here are delicious. I dont care for any thing else on their menu though. Everything on the Zaxbys menu is battered & fried. No hot non-fried dinner plate or vegetable options at all. I love my salads with the blackened, or grilled chicken. It's ashamed that they do not offer a "plate" with blackened or grilled chicken and a side of green beans, or mashed potatoes. Slaw even. I would love some Grilled or Blackened chicken strips or bites to dip in some tongue torched sauce. Something that doesnt taste like fry grease and clogged arteries. LoL! I know they offer grilled chicken sandwiches. But I do not care for bread either. If I want fried chicken, I go to Lowes Foods, right across the interstate.
