The Good Japanese Owned (In Medford OR!?!) Good Value Genuinely Super Friendly Very Clean Inside Clean Bathroom Quick Service
The Bad No Drink Menu At Our Table
The Ugly NONE
We were just passing through to get gas and wanted to get something to eat. We Yelped around and found that this joint wasn't too far away and wasn't too expensive. I was expecting white ownership but was pleasantly surprised to find that our host were Japanese. They still have their grand opening sign up so I presume they opened up recently. Everything is still clean and tidy, even the bathrooms. I ordered my usual for a new sushi place (so I can review them evenly), a rainbow roll and California roll. My wife got the Samurai Roll. All 3 were REALLY good and we enjoyed every bite. My wife even made the comment that she liked it even more than our own sushi place back at home that we frequent; that's a huge compliment. We were in and out in about 30 mins too! We weren't rushed at all though.
Thank you for the great sushi and we wish you...
Read moreHad an amazing time tonight with these servers, who were really friendly in recommending and taking our order! Thats if they came however... It seems like theres 3 of them, 1 doing phone orders, 1 actually going around serving food and 1 just cleaning up, and many people seated wanted requests like the bill or ordering more and seems the same one had to keep going around many times with the same great attitude she has taking orders and resolving and problems!
As for the food... Its pretty cartoony how sweet the teriyaki and the sauces on the sushi can be. One example is my yakisoba shrimp which had a teriyaki base to it and really sweet at the end! All with fresh veggies and surprised to see not alot of shrimp.. for $15... Its alright because the noodles and veggies really carry it! There are also other flavors like chicken or beef or pork!
Their sushis are also sweet too, such with their eel rolls and kamikaze sushi! Overall, a really great experience with just reopening for indoor...
Read moreWe order several different things as we had never been an wasn’t sure if we would like certain dishes. We order one dish and it was literally like 2 onion chopped up barley cook and some pork thrown on top for $28 it was gross could of done that for way cheaper. Ordered regular and spicy yaki soba the spicy lacked taste and wasn’t good the regular one was ok definitely have had way better. The chicken katsu had no flavor. The bulgogi was ok lacked a lot of flavor. The best thing we had was the potstickers. Not to mention our waitress never checked on us had to flag down another waitress to get refills for drinks. Now we understood being valentines day they would be busy we definitely were ok with that. We waited 30 to be seated and that was fine placed our order we waited 1 and 45 minutes before our food was even served. Once served it was very disappointing. The restaurant was clean they were definitely under staffed for a...
