October 2020 Great menu, full of standard Italian favorites, but that’s all they have going for them.  So where do I begin?  The pizza with meatballs and roasted red peppers was beyond boring and terrible.  Absolutely no taste!  The sauce was unidentifiable, the meatball topping was tasteless, the red peppers were mushy and definitely served from a can, and the crust tasted like $1 Celeste pizza from the frozen food section. The cheese steak egg rolls were just horrible.  Entirely too hard of a shell and the contents inside were very bland and forgettable.  In fact, it’s the first time I didn’t finish cheesesteak egg rolls.  Just disgusting and inedible. Service was very disappointing and was as bad as the food.  First off was the ginger ale that was all seltzer water.  When we said that it was obviously at the very end or beginning of a new tap, our waiter, Joshua, just argued with us. He actually argued with us for a couple minutes.  And when asking for utensils he was very apathetic and just didn’t care to do his job.  We got this “anything else?” in a very dismissive tone. Anyone that enjoys this place for the food and service is totally delusional and a liar just like Pinocchio.  I write hundreds of reviews a year on TripAdvisor and Google, and it takes a lot for me to write a 1-star review, and leave no tip (I routinely leave 20%), but this place deserves the bad mark.

Rarely come to the Media area, so I asked for some recommendations and one person mentioned Pinocchio's. Let's just say Im never listening to that individual ever again. Im giving a 4 star review but my experience was more like 3.50 to 3.75. People that left reviews here mentioned the poor service here, and although not poor, it was mediocre. Not the friendliest crew, and hard to track down. Now on to the food. Cheesesteak. Flavor, actually wasn't that bad. If they worked on the portion and got new rolls, they could actually be a decent location for cheesesteaks. The roll was very basic. The roll is very important for a cheesesteak but this roll wasn't it. The portion was miniscule. I thought I had ordered from the kids menu. If you look at the photo you will see what I am talking about. The chicken cheesesteak. The portion was actually good for this one, but unlike the cheesesteak, it was lacking in flavor. The reuben. Also small portion, and unfortunately, not that good. Had high hopes, but alas, it didn't meet my expectations. However, in today's economy, I will say that the prices were on the kinder side.

Great restaurant. Good food. Super great beer selection. Wish i lived closer. Would come here more often. For being an unremarkable neighborhood pizza joint from the outside, you'll be surprised when you walk in and find...an unremarkable neighborhood pizza joint. Apart from a handful of wood carved Pinocchio wall murals, nothing really sets this place apart, until you come across the beer menu. The food is pretty average but well priced, and the wait staff is friendly and responsive, but Pinocchio's real draw is having an amazing bottle shop in the same building and the best tap menu I've seen in a pizza shop. If you like beer and you like pizza, you probably enjoy both of them together. Pinocchio's let's you do this with some world class beers, and because of this I'm giving them a solid 5 stars.

On Saturday, October 3rd, I took my 4 adult children and my grandchildren to your establishment. The little ones were so happy when we told them that they will be receiving pizza dough to play with while we wait for our food. Prior to arriving we called an hour in advance, the manager answered the phone and was very pleasant. Her mood changed when we arrived. She was rude, loud, apologizing to other customers on our behalf and we had no idea why she was doing this. We asked her numerous times to calm down, that the children were not aware that we were going to be seated on the next table. GRANT you she sat us down where there was three table right next to each other with only inches apart from each other. How were the little ones going to know that they were not to be seated there. I work in Human Resources and I perfectly understand following guidelines and social distancing. My adult children all are business workers and understand perfectly what we are all expected to do to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. Her behavior was not about social distancing at all. WE all felt it, your own staff were apologetic to us and you can tell they couldn't believe what was happening. One waitress kept saying I am so sorry. Other staff said they were sorry and have a good day on our way out. Your manager was totally out of line. THIS WAS NOT ABOUT ACCOMMODATING US, WE TOLD HER WE WERE OKAY SITTING IN SEPARATE TABLES. So sad that I am looking at your other reviewers and you are offering people to come back and give your restaurant another try to make things right yet, you did not offer our family that same sympathy and understanding like you did to your other...

If I could give a zero star review I would I was a 1st time customer & from the moment me & my sister walked in the girls who were taking our order at the take out counter were rude & rushed to take our order leading to uncooked wings & fires that were over cooked & saturated in cooking oil all stuck together also the cheese steak was super greasy & had no taste at all to it. As a 1st timer I was very upset because we spent over 40$ for dinner & it ended up in the trash worse part my sister called to complain & requested to speak to the STORE OWNER who they said was not available so a man by the name of DAN who was rude and argumentative said NO REFUNDS so she explained we live far from the shop & the food was just not edible finally after a 45min mix up & hold time because he couldn't find the order recipient he said we can get a credit but only for the wings & fries. So we tried it again last week & again DAN took our order was rude rushed us in & out we got home & no condiments for the wings were in the box & fries were mushy & cold very upsetting to us that the OWNER still has yet to reach out about this matter we are paying customer & Dan messed up our order twice I would hope this would be taken care of but wasn't I'd never go back here if you paied me horrible customer service & the food was not up to par. I will be making a higher complaint at this point until we receive a...

Horrible experience. Called ahead bc we had a party of 13 and woman on the phone was really nice and said it’s first come first serve and she appreciated us calling ahead. Once we arrived I waited at the hostess stand outside for 5 mins watching employees walk back and forth with no one ever speaking to me or greeting me. Finally the manager herself came out to ask how many people. I said 13 and she said we cannot all sit together outside and would have to sit inside . I said it was fine for us to be seated inside as long as we can sit together in the same area. She walked away and left me outside for another 10mins. Once she returned she takes us inside and sits us at two tables apart with one empty table between us. The children not knowing what was going on proceeded to scatter between the tables and the manager started to scold the children and the adults in my party that we can not all sit together and have to sit separated. At this point she got really nasty with us and was making us feel unwanted in the establishment. Speaking very loud so all the customers could hear what was going on making a huge scene in the middle of the restaurant so we all got up and left without her caring or trying to correct her wrongs for her nasty behavior. I would not recommend any one to step foot in this establishment and I will leave a review everywhere possible about the...
