Do not buy your pizza here! I would give zero stars if I could!! We have been loyal customers to the Medina Gionino's location for almost 20 years and was so disappointed by the service I will no longer to any Gionino's again!
Ordered a pizza & salad and was told it would be ready in 25mins. We showed up with our children to pick the pizza up and the pizza had already been ready and in the warmer and the salad was not made. The pizza was then taken out of the warmer and we were informed that the salad was was going to be made right now. 25 minuets later, salad was not made, pizza was very cold and when asked if the salad had been started we were met with a seriously rude employee who just said "nope". My husband got irate and they refunded him the salad.
After coming home with our cold pizza we realized that we should have asked for a full refund. We called back and they informed us that they refund would be issued and posted within 72 hours. One week later and still no refund. Called back again and then they insisted the refund would post in 72 hours. One week after that no refund again! I went into the store to demand the refund I waited almost 30 minuets only for the worker to tell me that it was being processes and I was assured it would go thru. I refused to wait and they finally gave me cash from the drawer. Not even my full refund with the tax and "credit" fee that they charge!
Pizza may taste good, when its hot, but I would never purchase from here again. I recommend no one else either! There are so many other...
Read moreJust picked up a pizza at Medina Gionino's. I took cash because I was aware of their 3% service charge when using a debit/credit card, per a sign outside the restaurant. The sign also states that customers paying with cash would get a 3% discount on their order. When they cashed me out, I inquired about the 3% discount for cash. The cashier didn't know what I was talking about, so she asked another guy. He said he also didn't know what I was referring to. I said, "go look at your sign on the door", which he did. He came back in and said there was no discount for cash, even though the sign said so. He admitted that the sign was misleading. I asked to see a manager. He reported he was a manager. A 3% discount will not make or break me. It's the principle of the thing. What happened to "the customer is always right"? I ordered two dozen wings with a few sides of sauce, they billed it all as separate 6 piece wings even though they came in one box and were all plain with no sauce. So what should have been one much cheaper 24 piece or two 12 pieces was instead four 6 pieces.
Food tastes good if you're willing to pay a grimy establishment that will go out of its way to charge you more than it should be.
Edit: To the owners response, I don't know what you mean. How can I get cheaper wings, I got a 24 piece of plain chicken wings and you tried to charge me for four 6 piece orders.
