I didn't think that it was possible to have a bad experience at Chick-fil-A until it happened at this location. During breakfast hours I ordered a combo but asked for waffle fries instead of hashbrowns. The rep on the speaker said it would take 15 minutes for my request. ( 1st exaggeration). As though that might deter my special order, it didn't. When I paid at the window i was told that I'd have to pull up while my waffle fries cooked. Keep in mind that I order this combo every visit. The time that it takes to place the order and then proceed through the drive-thru during the breakfast rush has always been enough time to prepare the waffle fries. On this morning I was told to pull up to the door at the end of the drive-thru. I did so and while waiting took a phone call from a client. I observed customers coming and going both in the restaurant and the drive-thru. There was one particular lady that walked out and appeared to be looking for her vehicle. She walked back and forth in the parking lot and then back into the restaurant (I was parked & waiting at the door that she used). After a couple of minutes she reappeared and did the same routine. When she walked past my car door a 4th time to return into the store (with a sack of food everytime), I excused myself from my business call and followed her inside. When I approached the counter I said Excuse, I've been.... she immediately turned around and said Oh, there you are. I've been looking for you. (#2) I turned toward the door to be check to see if my car was visible from were we stood inside the restaurant. It was. I replied, You couldn't have been looking for me. I have been sitting in that car blocking the front door and the drive-thru for the past 10 minutes. I've watched you walk aimlessly around the parking lot and pass my car at least 4 times and not once did you stop to check on me, a customer that was parked dead in the center of your morning breakfast traffic flow. (3) She told me that the description that she was given of the waiting vehicle didn't match mine & that my order has been remade since the last time that she returned inside the building. (4) I was really confused at this point. Another slap in my face. I had followed her immediately on the second return.
I told her that I was uncomfortable with taking that particular bag of food. She called for a remake of my order. In all of this mayhem she offered me 2 gift cards for free ice cream or cookies.(5 and 6)
When you take the entire experience into consideration the 15 minute wait was actually NOT an...
Read moreI hate to leave the bad review. But every time we leave a doctor's appointment each week my kids we stop by chick-fil-a. They always look forward to their chicken nugget meals and their chocolate milks. The last two times they have messed up our orders. The first time they forgot the chicken nuggets of one meal and only gave me one fry. As well as leaving off a cookie. Then the second time we went which was the following week, they gave me the two chocolate milks in the drink holder along with my drink. And because the bag was so large I just assumed that my food was all in there because it's Chick-fil-A right. I get home I have my chicken sandwich with fries and drink, I have two chocolate milks from the kids meals, but no five piece chicken nugget meals for my daughters. It was around 1:00 in the afternoon so it was after the lunch rush. There is no Rhyme or Reason that the two five piece chicken nugget kids meals should have not been in the bag. This particular location at Poplar Avenue and Massey has been getting our order wrong for quite some time. I'm not sure what's going on but I will not be going to this location again. I will drive out of my way to go to one that I know generally doesn't mess up the orders. When they would hand the order to me at any time that I would go to a Chick-fil-A I would try to look through the bag just to confirm that everything is in the bag, but they don't want you to do that because it messes up their time they tell you just to go. You can be fast and polite as well as courteous and make sure the order is correct and give the customer just a few seconds to double check. Unfortunately this location does not and you are rushed and in my case...
Read moreThe store was located at 6282 Poplar avenue on January 12th to get my 8-year-old son a meal. The line was long, so I used my Chick-fil-A app to place a carryout order. The order was simply a mac & cheese, waffle fries, and fruit cup. I waited for ten minutes and went into the store, which was empty with only staff hustling about to get orders out. I stood underneath the carry-out sign, and no one greeted me, and the manager walked past me to go outside. When he came back into the restaurant, he took the order of a woman who had just walked out of the restroom. Upon seeing that they provided service to those at the cash register, I stood behind her six feet apart and waited. When she stepped to the side, I stepped up, and the manager walked away from the register. I stood there and waited while several employees came up and made purchases. When someone finally asked to take my order, I informed him that I placed an online order for carryout. A young lady called my name and said that my order had been sitting there the entire time. I thanked her and asked her to explain the difference between the redshirts and the gray shirts. That is when I was informed the gray shirts are the managers. She told me the guy who kept walking away from me is named Landon. It really, left a bad taste in my mouth, and if it were not for my son, I would have left the food inside...
