The room we reserved was a two story loft style room. Simply getting from the lobby to the room was a troubling experience. The lobby was dirty and unkempt with discarded cups and fast food bags scattered throughout the seating area. Additionally, someone spilled food and a sticky liquid in the elevator we had to use to get to our room.
The hallway leading to our room was dimly lit and dingy and When we arrived at our room, none of the keys worked. We had to make our way back to the lobby to have them reprogrammed.
Once we finally made it into the room, it was dirty. The carpets were heavily stained, fast food bags from previous guests were left discarded in kitchen cabinets, the refrigerator was filthy, the room smelled stale, and we found previous guests' hair throughout the room. We complained about the lack of cleanliness and were told that there were no more loft rooms available, but our party of 6 could be moved to two separate rooms.
The two new rooms were cleaner. However, we discovered feces in the hallway a few feet from our door. We alerted the front desk who immediately sent someone to clean the hallway.
Subsequently, after being in one of the room for a few hours, we realized that the air condition was not working. Since the onsite maintenance employee was unable to fix it, we were given the option of either waiting for an AC repair company (that may or may not show up) to come fix the problem or moving to yet another room. We opted to move for a third time.
In all of the rooms, we noticed that the bathrooms contained rust around the faucets and mold/mildew in the corners. The furniture was old, worn, and discolored. Everyone in our party complained about how uncomfortable the beds and couches were. Throughout our entire stay, which was 5 nights, no one ever serviced our room. We had to go to the front desk to get new garbage bags, toilet tissue, paper towels, bathroom towels, and bed linens.
Hotel management explained that the lack of cleanliness and maintenance was due to a labor shortage and, while I can empathize, there's no way I will ever stay at this...
Read moreThis place is horrible. There is so many things that I could say about this place they take advantage of people they rob people me and my family was living there for over a year and whenever the first manager quit a new GM came in and whenever she came in, we started getting late fees every day added to our account, even though we paid weekly on time, one of the workers up there Dentria is horrible, rude, nasty, disgusting and the managers up there allow it. She’s trying to put her hands on me and she got away with it. They don’t have control over nothing up there they allow the trash to get nasty and out of hand Vehicles have been broken into in the back because they choose not to fix the gate to keep cars from coming in and out that are not gust there. The trash is so bad there that one time whenever there was a storm my floorboards in my car got flooded whenever I brought it to the managers attention. He laughed at me about it. He could care less the employees that take care of the trash they put the trash up against my car. We went without AC in the room for a week before they even said anything to get it fixed and they didn’t care to give us a discount or anything for us dealing with that situation. The AC was sitting there, freezing up and falling out to the point where he got our closet, soaking wet and it ruined everything in the bottom of my closet, which I was not refunded for or anything, there was mold growing in the closet whenever Michael told me that they would come in and clean it and they didn’t a dog to stay there with a guest try to attack my son, but since they was close with the Girl, they didn’t do nothing about it, and the dog was clearly aggressive I would also like to add the muddy water is from my car whenever their lot flooded because of all the trash YALL ARE TRASH FUNNY HOW I DID A CHANGE OF ADDRESS WHEN I LIVED THERE NEVER ONCE GOT MY MAIL YALL BLAMED TO POST OFFICE I MOVED INTO A NEW PLACE AND DIDNT HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING A CHANGE OF ADDRESS HERE I WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO LET PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT YALL AND I WILL BE PRESSING CHARGES IM...
Read moreI had to share my experience and add my family members thoughts and experience as well. This was a really nice hotel before the pandemic. Breakfast in the lobby and cleanliness on point but now, I can write a book report and cc the Health Department. For about two weeks, I’ve been back and forth with family members staying here. This was convenient for family members out of town to handle personal affairs but let me explain the details. Gnats problems: A guest left food in room 305 and checked out without telling anyone. Employees went in his room, a week later to find molded food and fruit flies everywhere in the kitchen. Guess what? My family members were on the 3rd floor near this room, gnats were in the kitchen and bathroom. I was told, we are sending someone out to spray! This info was told last week. Sonesta was aware of the problem. Let’s keep going, you have people who lives on the property and don’t take their trash to the big dumpster but just let trash fly around without a lid. Bags of garbage can sit in front of the doors all day until a worker remove front of the door. One day, they ran out of towels, a car was stolen while we were there (that morning), the door lock didn’t work, the trash was left in the new room after a family member received her key. Wifi didn’t work properly. They don’t clean but how many times a week or weeks? Per a staff. I will let you get the answer from the front desk. I found out before we checked out! Make sure you bring your own towels…very disappointed! This was my go to place for me and my family out of town! Never again! A Health Department report was filled out today this...
