Had a really bad experience with this particular location today. Last night I received an e-mail from Lenny's notifying me that my birthday rewards had been loaded on my Lenny's app. I decided that I would redeem today. I went into the restaurant and while standing in line waiting to order, I opened the app and clicked on that particular rewards. I then clicked on the option to "redeem in-store." After doing that, I received a "redemption confirmation" pop-up just to make sure that I was physically at the store. I clicked continue and a QR code came up on my screen. When it was my turn to order, I first ordered a salad for my husband and then I ordered my sandwich showing the employee the QR code. After finishing with the order, I showed him again the QR code in order to redeem for my sandwich. He told me that he needed me to "x out of it" and he would have to enter my telephone number at the register. So I did. Well, then he realized that entering the telephone number didn't pull up that rewards BECAUSE I had already clicked continue on the redemption confirmation! So he asked two other employees/managers/owners how to do it and they both kept telling me that I needed to show the QR code! I told them no less than 4-5 times that he had told me to X OUT OF THE QR CODE and that it no longer was an option in my app. She then had the audacity to tell me that I must have redeemed at another location. Seriously! She had the nerve to even suggest that. Long story short, they refused to honor even though their child or whoever it was screwed up by telling me to x out of the QR code. Left a voicemail for Lenny's customer service and will be curious to see if anyone at all ever calls me back. In the meantime, this location is history to me and if no one from Lenny's calls me back I will seriously never step foot into another Lenny's restaurant. Read moreThese people screwed my food up and the manager told me she could make my sandwich again, but I didn't have time to wait. I asked her to sign the receipt and I would return to get my sandwich. I got there two days later and Angile refused to give me my sandwich, she stated the manager wanted me to get chips and a soda, but the receipt clearly stated combo. This girl was the one who screwed my order up when I went there last week. I didn't want to argue with her, and I paid for my replacement sandwich, but I WILL NEVER enter that place again. Have gone there for years, but they have lost a customer!!!!

I asked for a refund after hearing her trash talk me to a male coworker. This was the same girl who caused all the chaos. She was very dismissive and rude. She called a male on the phone to advise her in Spanish how to process the refund since I paid with my credit card, and I am fluent in Spanish. She needs to be careful how she talks about black customers in front of them, because some of us are bi-lingual. I refuse to patronize this store and I will bad mouth them to everyone I encounter.

10/30/24 - UPDATE Received a call from the owner "Aziz" (Arab American) and he tried to make excuses for the worker by saying she is sixteen years old and she doesn't understand the problem with being racist. As an adult and minority he should understand the importance of being respectful to his customers. I guarantee you he wouldn't allow a white person to be disrespected in that way and call the customer and say the worker wasn't being fired, because she is a child and doesn't understand the full weight of what she did.
