We are so excited to have a new restaurant in the neighborhood! The diner has a total 1960’s feel to it, complete with corner booths that screem “ maffia table” which we always choose if possible . Our drinks arrived quickly, and our server was wonderful! Our food choices came out delicious , more American Italian, the portions were great and we thoroughly enjoyed! Let me tell you, the lemon cheesecake at the end of the meal is one of the best I’ve ever had!!! Do not skimp on dessert! There’s a small wine list but the list is filled with good Italian wines that are very inexpensive, and there is also a cork fee which is always great if you want to bring your own. I think the only thing I would add to make it better was there is a need for good lively frank Sinatra music ! The vibe was mediocre , but can be lifted easily! Over all, great experience and we will be back!

Cocozza came recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. We arrived for an early dinner and decided to sit at the bar. The drinks were so good, but the food outshone everything else. I had the Tortellini and honestly it was so rich and divine. 11/10 hands down!! I ate every piece and even though I was full I truly wanted to order a second plate. The manager checked in on us several times over the course of our meal and made sure we were well looked after. The bartender was friendly and had a great sense of humor while my fiancé and I bantered with him over dinner. I will most definitely be returning again!

I have been a fan of Cocozza American Italian since 2020 when it was a downtown patio pop-up and then on Harbor Town Sq. And now, East Memphis can enjoy Cocozza! My favorite starters, Fried Calamari, and the Meatballs with red sauce is the best in Memphis! Go now, and have the Shrimp Penne Arrabbiata, Tortellini Pesto Alfredo, Veal Marsala that will melt in your mouth. The family platters for pickup are always an easy and delicious dinner at home. The Baked Lasagna tastes like your Nonnas! Treat yourself to Helen's Tiramisu, Mimi's Lemon Cheescake and hey, don't forget the Cannolis!

A New Favorite—Coccoza Nails It

From the moment we walked in, Coccoza felt special. The space is stylish without trying too hard—warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a buzz that says “you picked the right place.” Our server was on point: friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed.

The food? Outstanding. Every plate came out hot and beautifully presented. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, and the mains were balanced—seasoning dialed in, textures just right. You can tell the kitchen cares about details. Portion sizes are generous without being over the top, and prices are more than fair for the quality.

Drinks deserve a shoutout too thanks Steven! creative cocktails, a smart wine list, and everything poured with care. Save room for dessert—the perfect finish.

What really sets Coccoza apart is consistency and heart. For a brand-new restaurant, the service, pacing, and execution were dialed. We left already planning our next visit. If you’re wondering where to book dinner...

I came here last night for dinner and sat at an outside patio. I was quickly greeted by Alexis and Lacy. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. My food was quickly brought to me by the manager. The food and service were FANTASTIC! Alexis has the biggest smile on her face; she is just one of those people you want to be around. Lacy was knowledgeable about the menu and helped me decide on what to eat. The manager was friendly and I saw him making rounds to all the tables checking on folks. I eat solo frequently, and this will definitely become my regular spot for that! I will say that the dining room was extremely loud when I went in, which is why I decided to sit on the patio. If you are sensitive to loud spaces, I recommend bringing some LOOPS to help drown out the background noise. Don't let it deter you from going and trying this spot out though! It was one of my best dining experiences in years! Thank you for a...

My wife and I attempted to eat here, but were treated so rudely by the lady that owns the establishment that we did not stay to eat. I parked my vehicle in the only available parking place at the restaurant, and apparently my headlights shined into the restaurant and bothered current guests there. We were not sitting in the car with the headlights on; we simply parked the car and got out and went inside. The parking spot I was in was not in the front row of spots by the restaurant; it was in the row of spaces next to the street. Due to the tightness of the lot and angle, I had to back into the space. The SUV next to me was parked in the same manner. The owner came up to us before we got seated telling us we had bothered patrons in her restaurant with our headlights shining in, and did so with the rudest tone and attitude acting like this was something we had done...
