I’ve now had 3 issues within the 2 months of having this mattress and adjustable base. I’ve reached out to mattress firm 3 times and still have yet to receive a response.
The first issue being that I was signed up for a credit card with out verbally being told I was. Trevor told me my credit would take a hit for 2-6 points, which it did. As soon as he ran it I got a notification for a 3 point hit. I was OKAY with that. He finished up the transaction. He did say he didn’t know anything about my specific financing option, that he had only seen it one other time. I should have run then when he said that. I look a few days later at my credit and I had been hit for an ADDITIONAL 44 POINTS because I was signed up for a credit card that I was not aware of. If he had told me I was financing directly through of credit card I would have said no and just paid up front for it (even though I preferred not to). I’m mad about the credit card and I’m also furious you let a salesperson on the floor without educating them with all the financing options you offer. I personally work in sales and I would NEVER allow my employee to work without needed assistance if they weren’t comfortable or didn’t know every single payment and financing option we offered. Reached out to mattress firm, no response.
Issue 2. About a week after receiving our mattress and base, half of the vibrations went out on our base. Still to this day our base doesn’t work correctly. Reached out to mattress firm, again no response
Issue 3. About a month in I noticed our bed had THREE rips down the sides of them. They were rips right at the seams. I had my previous mattress and adjustable base for years (we only got new ones because we decided to move from a Queen to a King) and we never once had an issue with rips. Read moreThey rescheduled my delivery and didn't tell me. When I called to figure out why my order wasn't there yet. I was told it was reschedule due to weather. Then they delivered it to the wrong address. Finally when it did show up the only thing they delivered was 2 box springs. The delivery person contact his manager Matt at the warehouse. I told him that the wrong item was delivered. He told me "you got what was on my ticket. The rest of that wasn't his problem." I tried to explain to him that The delivery ticket didn't match what was being delivered. He then told me he doesn't have to talk to me and hes not about to go back-and-forth with me. if I don't like it I can have the store fix it. Then hung up on me. I finally got in touch with one of the managers at the store. She was great. She was not able to get the original mattress that I ordered. But she was able to give me something in the meantime. But i had to pick it up myself. When I arrived at the warehouse. the same manager I spoke to on the phone shut the door in my face as I was walking up to the building. Once we made it into the building. he yelled at me and my child to wait outside until he could deal with us. (It was 20゚ outside). Then locked himself in his office.
