Milano's Pizza — Restaurant in Memphis

When I went in it wasnt busy at all. It felt nice in the restaurant, not cold, but I cant imagine it when its 100 outside. The food was amazing, you can tell they make a lot of their food themselves. I ordered an eggplant parm 12 inch sub for myself, a meatball 12 inch sub for my sister, and an order of mozzarella sticks to share. We were full before we even got to the second half of our sandwiches. The meatballs tasted really good and I could tell they made them in house. The eggplant was delicious as well. Sauce was tasty and complimented our sandwiches wonderfully. Of course there was cheese on the sandwiches and it was streeeeeetchy! The bread was toasted perfectly and gave me a satisfying crunch when I was biting into the sandwich. The mozzarella sticks were nice and cheesy, too. Their breading was crunchy and the sauce was a good compliment. All in all, I'm definitely coming back when I'm craving a sub or some pizza. Way better than delivery, that's for sure. Just left here, really unhappy. Took my wife and two kids to get a slice of pizza for lunch. They asked to try a pepperoni stick too so we ordered 3 of those. Tiny guy at the register didn't bother to say that the sticks only come in sets of 4, so although i only ordered 3 pepperoni sticks he charged me for 3 orders of them. When he brought a huge tray with 12 pizza sticks i realized why my order was over $60 and told him i only asked for 3, not 12 in 3 orders. He laughed and just said they come in sets and i ordered 3... He did that on purpose and thought it was real funny too. I told him he should let people know that they come in sets when they are clearly just trying to order individual ones, and he said it's on the menu, while still laughing. We will never go to any Milanos Pizza...

When placing my order by phone the person taking my order was very kind and patient given that I was placing multiple orders. When I made it to the restaurant to pick up my food the store was soooo clean, I mean spotless and the guy was still wiping down the everything. I appreciate the cleanliness of the store especially with COVID-19 being such a scare. I’ve not seen many restaurants during this pandemic to be so patient, cheerful, & proactive in serving customers. The quality of service and food has definitely declined in many of the restaurants here in Memphis during this time.
