I had the Summer roll, it was good, the dipping sauce for it was spicy and delicious. I also had the sweet potato roll, that was good and the spicy mayo was actually spicy. The only thing is that we have to keep asking for things that should come with our order. She forgot our waters and we had to request our waters twice. When the food came, we had to request soy sauce, since our table didn't have any. Actually, my friend just got up and got some from a nearby table, then we realized we didn't have any spicy mayo so we asked for that. Later, we saw that we were missing wasabi and ginger. Everything was brought in after the fact and we had to ask for it each time. The waitress, Britney, wasnt very attentive. Each time she brought us something, she'd go back behind the counter, pick her phone up and stare at it and turn her back to the dining room. My friend finally just got up and went to the counter to ask for things we needed. The food was good and the service was friendly but lacking...

It seems like the servings have gotten smaller while the prices have stayed the same. The Sashimi is supposed to come with three pieces, but only two arrived on all but one. We waited to tell the waitress, but she was the only server there, waiting on six tables. So we ate. I told her at the end of the meal, and she said she'd tell the chefs for next time. No other offers of any kind.
This all sounds a little petty, but we're the easiest customers of all time, it really doesn't take much to make us happy.
It's ok, I showed her, I only left her 18%. =P
Three stars because it really is well prepared sashimi and nigiri, but the rolls are tiny,
Ask how many pieces of each come with the rolls, sashimi and nigiri, so you're not left with a $60 tab and a half-full belly.
The atmosphere/decor are nice and inviting. Usually quiet,...
Read moreWe had a wonderful experience. You wouldn't think you could find such a peaceful place in the bustling Summer Ave, but it was lovely. We had lunch there at 1 PM and it was quiet. I had the fried dumplings, dumpling broth, and the sweet potato roll. My father had the Tornado roll. Everything was delicious and you could tell they specialize in Pho and Sushi to bring such advanced flavors. I will say, though their sign says Steakhouse, and their google description says Hibachi, there are no rice dishes, noodle dishes, bento box, etc. There is only Sushi, Pho, and a handful of appetizers. They are more a Sushi Bar than a steakhouse, which is what they have on their door, but the large sign and the google description and images can be misleading. We were informed it was a past era, and that the menu has been more changed for years. Still, if you want sushi or pho, this is the best I've...
