I hate to give two stars but I have been doing business with smooth living since the suite in Apple Tree Center years ago. I was so happy when they was able to move to Whitehaven in a bigger building because I live in the area but for the last past year I have been having issues. I work at a school I placed a big order and each person's order was wrong unless you had Hood Rolls. Then I place another order that was wrong but when I called they did say that I could come back and my order would be replaced. But today when I walked in the atmosphere was so unfriendly and the two individuals at the counter barely acknowledged me I'm the only one standing there! I know what I wanted since the menu changes I was trying to make sure I can get something made a little different instead of what they had listed on the menu I was asked "what does it say" meaning the menu that was rude to me. Then the young lady turn to the other lady at the counter who was bent over on the counter on her phone could I do what I was asking her she had to ask the lady twice because she was so into her phone. It just seemed as if they were irritated. I asked for a cucumber sauce when I get my plate I asked were was the sauce she told me on my wrap and said you have Ranch in there. Really? I hate to spend money and don't get what I asked for and a person not trying to correct it. And when she gave me my food not once did she say thank you even when I paid. It was not crowded it was 4 people in there. The two people that was at the counter today 3/17/21 at 4:30 p.m. really need to take a class on customer service. As I was walking out I was saying that they don't ever have to worry about me again since it seems as if they didn't want me in there by their attitudes. I really hate this because I saw the vision that the owner had when he wanted to expand but I pray that he gets better...

Coming in from a long flight to try all of the hype about this place...THE GOOD... the smoothies are tasty and the food is cooked to order with several options and fresh vegetables... the vegetarian chili that I adored had a fabulous mix of flavors and taste, tried a veggie hood roll and fried tomato sandwich that was delicious, parking okay in a shopping strip, area seemed safe, chairs and tables to sit with a couple of TV's and soft music, but it appeared to be more of an in and out place. THE BAD... is it wrong to expect mediocre service, I felt like I was at a fast food restaurant that had one angry employee who happened to be working the cash register... and I tried to order over the phone after reading the reviews - but not happening... the owner should list they close a hour before they actually close, because the employees are getting paid for doing nothing during the last hour. I attempted to call-in my order at 6:05 and I was told, "we're closing at seven and all we have are hood rolls." Luckily for me, I was already in route and they did have more than hood rolls to order when I arrived a few minutes later. SUGGESTIONS...great customer service will go far and probably keep a business from failing or the difference between becoming a great restaurant... please be clear about the times or available menu with a little...
   Read moreWouldâve been 5 stars because the Salmon Hood Rolls and Gentleman Club smoothie is AMAZING. HOWEVER, the older lady at the front counter had a bad attitude because theyâ are understaffed and âtired of the Uber drivers and door dash people looking all in her mouth with an attitude!â My coworker also ordered a smoothie through Door dash/Uber eats, when I asked about her order she caught another attitude.
She told meâ wasnât no mo smoothiesâ but they told Door Dash that the smoothie was ready for pickup. Hence why I was asking for it. The older lady shouldâve asked for her name, letting me know that it was out of stock and that she was refunded. Mind you she told me wasnât no mo smoothies while scrolling on the tablet for Uber Eats/Door Dash. Then proceeded to tell me she wasnât scrolling on the tablet to look for my coworker.
My review is based solely off of the customer service I received.I know a lot of places are understaffed due to the pandemic and I understand the frustration but if she canât handle the pressure maybe she shouldnât have a customer facing role. Or ask can she take a break in between customers in order to get her...
