Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Memphis

Got here 5 mins before closing and they were out of burgers and out of chicken. My guess they didnt want to cook so close to closing time. Wont be back. If your telling customers you have no food then close the doors and turn off the lights !!!!!! Lazy ordered #1 burger and tender meal , they said sorry we are out of chicken. He said well make it 2 burgers then , they came back and said we are out of burgers too. How are they to open the next morning with no food to serve ? This place had 5 star review from me previously. Last 2 trips very disappointed. Time before the order was wrong , now out of food. Different staff who just dont care .

Update 1 yr later. Went to this sonic at 930 on sunday night. Employees inside , one outside where 2 cars had ppl in them. The worker yelled we are closed . All lights still on . Looked up closing time and website said 8pm on sunday nights. My question , why are there still employees here with all the lights on an hour and a half after closing time ? My dtr said you're not closed. As we drove off the employees exited the building and started yelling we are closed rudely mocking . This store needs employees to go through customer service training and new management on the evening shift. Not sure why I even tried this store again. There is one on summer Ave that always gets your order right, it's always hot and the staff are customer...

It's always a hit or miss with this location. I ordered a breakfast burrito (combo) and added bacon along with the other ingredients. Since I never know what my experience will be when I visit this location I checked my order and I will be dog-gone I was missing the sausage and bacon on the burrito. I paid the extra .70 to add bacon but You would have thought they ran a butcher shop in the back. The carhop said I will send someone out to view your order and receipt. I did not drive off I was still at stall 5 where I placed my order. The carhop instantly approached my car saying bacon is extra. I showed her my receipt and she said it will be corrected. The 2nd go round I was missing the sausage. Like I just want a sausage, egg and cheese burrito with bacon on it. It's not that hard so I buzzed back in and this time a skater came out asked what was wrong with my sandwich. I explained a it appears my order was not the only order that was short on the bacon. Every experience I have here is terrible. One time I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese toaster with fries and got a burrito with tots instead. Another time I tried ordering a large sweet tea and the lady taking the order kept asking if I wanted a small iced coffee and we went back and forth about it so finally I just left. Just now I ordered a number twelve and I could not understand anything the lady was saying. She had me down for mozzarella sticks so I repeated yet again. After I told her the side and drink, she told me my total and hung up even though I wasn’t done ordering. I get my order with no fork, no ranch, a straw that is extremely short for a large drink, lukewarm food, and one napkin. I try to be understanding but it’s very frustrating that every experience is an actual work out to get almost what I want. However Michael is usually the carhop that brings my stuff out, and I have absolutely no complaints about him. He definitely lightens the frustration before...
