ATTENTION MY BEAUTIFUL BLACK PEOPLE!!! DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! IT IS NOT APPRECIATED. Beautyland, you did this all on your own. It's a shame b/c you have such a great selection of products in the Bartlett area. Unfortunately I will never shop here again and I hope to see you close down in the future.
I live LESS than 2 mins from this business so you can imagine my excitement when I saw a beauty supply move so close to my home. I shopped here frequently until the day my 5 yr old daughter needed to potty BADLY before we left the store. I took the items I was purchasing to the register and asked if they could be held there until I got back from using the restroom and the clerk told me that was ok. So I took my children and walked back to the restroom. Once there, I saw a sign on the door stating this bathroom was to remain locked so I walked ALL the way back to the cash register and asked the clerk 1) why she didn't tell me the bathroom was locked and 2) if I could have the key to use the restroom. she looked at me and kids with frustration and disgust and said I'm not opening the door for you b/c you people like to steal from me. I quickly asked her to clarify who "you people" was...(I knew exactly what she was trying to say without saying it...I just wanted her to say it to my face). In the nicest, calmest tone I said to her that I had already given her the items I intended to purchase beforehand and the last thing on my mind was stealing from them...I went on to explain that my child simply just needed to use the restroom...so she reluctantly gave me the key. I promised her that'd be my last time asking for the key or entering the store. I refuse to give blatant racists my hard earned money. What hurts more is that their business wouldn't survive without the black dollar. period. I was deeply saddened and offended at the treatment I received and now I gladly go out of my way and drive to VIP in the...
Read moreThis is a horrible place to shop. I have never been so humiliated in my life. When I entered the store the sensor went off and I was asked to have my purse scanned. After I asked why I was told that there was probably a product similar to theirs in my purse. I was going out of town and needed the products I came there for but the owner was rude and disrespectful. He told me I could get out he didn't want me in his store. I picked out my products after letting them scan my purse and went to counter to pay only to have him take the products and sit them to the side and said he told me he was not going sell me the products. I allowed them to scan my purse but he apparently didn't like me questioning them about their policy. They definitely have a racist attitude and I pray blacks will start opening up their own beauty supply stores. I will never shop there again and I know other people have been treated in similar manner with this...

She messed up the part that’s supposed to be shaved. Now I have a big gap in the back of my head. Then she kept having to go purchase hair products out the store. She Was going to try to cover up where she gapped my hair up with black hairspray. The dryer was burning my scalp. She left while doing my hair to go pick up her kid.
