Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Memphis

Sonic at Frayser Raleigh Road is complete trash!! I went last night. I first pushed the button at 8:40pm (CST), I ordered, and paid with a card at the stall. Stall #3 to precise. A carhop came to my car at 9:14pm. Then told me I still owed $26. Which I didn't. Then, she tells me that I owe $5 something. I look at my banking app, and see that the entire order for $30.32 had gone through fine, like I knew it had, because I get a text receipt instantly when something goes through. She said "Hold on," impatiently, went inside, came back out, and said, "My bad." Then I asked for mustard, and cream cheese, which I asked for when I ordered. Then noticed my Cinnasnacks weren't in the bag, or on the receipt. I pushed the button again to order them, and heard, "Come back in 10 minutes." WHAT?! I told him I had been there for 45 minutes, at that point, and I just wanted what I originally ordered so I could go home. I said I'd gladly pay for them. He comes out, and tells me his manager is on break. Why that was relevant, I don't know. Then he tells me he's going to make sure they have them, and to push the button, and he would ring me up. I ordered, and paid, and waited another 12 minutes, for the first girl to come out, and say, "We ain't got no Cinnasnacks. What else you want?" At this point I'm seething anger, but I just asked her to cancel my order, so I could go home. This is not the first time I've had a problem like this at that location. One time, I went, and EVERY SINGLE THING I ordered, they told me they didn't have. Even the drinks!! The staff is incredibly rude, and it seems like they simply don't want to work. I even made sure to tip 15% anyway, because I've worked at sonic before, so I ALWAYS tip more than $2 or $3. Usually it's more than $5. Needless to say, I'm never going to that location again. Now, I have to drive 8 miles in city traffic to get to a decent one. I'll do it just so that I don't have to go to that...

We had a bad experience our last visit. The app was not working right, which wasn't the store's fault, but when I called from the red button to tell them that I couldn't pay on their app, they said the car hop would take care of it when they came out. 15 minutes later when no one had come, I pushed the button to call back and it turns out that the first person I talked to had never connected my app order to my stall location. Then when they brought my order out, we were missing a drink and I had to call them to bring it back. Then when we opened up the food they had given us the wrong sandwich and I had to call them again, but they never answered when I called so I had to flag down a car hop, to bring it back. All in all we were parked there for 45 minutes. We've been there before and had a much better experience so I hope this was a fluke but they sure did make a lot of mistakes...

It was very good. I had to turn back around to get my cheese sauce for my 2 pretzels, but I think it was bcuz the waiter was so excited to get a good tip that he was a little giddy. But that's OK, bcuz the App FINALLY worked right, and they added a way to tip online. Than God, bcuz I never carry cash, and I wouldn't eat there sometimes, bcuz if you can't afford to tip, Go to a drive through or make your own food. These kids work HARD for their money, putting up with grumpy people, and lately have been putting their health in danger doing so! So WELL DONE Sonic!!! I will be back! The garlic bacon burger is FIRE!!!😀👍I really wish they'd bring back the Slingers, best little burgers ever bcuz they were made with mushrooms in the meat. So juicy & tender & just the right size!!! Also bring back Fried Mac & cheese...
