Taqueria Chelita — Restaurant in Memphis

As a person who eats taco trucks around a lot of places including Memphis and Little Rock this one was disappointing. I got the Gordita and the bread was so thin and dry I assumed it was a taco shell holding it together. Also it barely had any meat and was loaded with toppings. The rice is super bland as well. My fiancé got the Quesabirria tacos and he said they were okay but he had to drown them in broth for flavor. I did try to contact them to remake my Gordita but 2 tries no call. This is one of the BEST and most unacknowledged tacos in Memphis! Go to Cordova now and try the birria tacos with the consume! These are a MUST, and honestly as good as or better than some of the other more hyped birria tacos in Memphis. Their regular tacos are great too. And well served. This is a food truck next to Exxon gas station on Germantown pkway, that’s why there are three stars for the atmosphere.
