Overall we had a great experience. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. They had a list of bottled beer written on the wall. There is no draft beer. This is kind of a bottle of beer and a basic shot kind of place. We came on a Saturday and they had prime rib dinner special for saturday. We started off with mac and cheese bites, Mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, and the fried pickles. The fried pickles are Spears and it's about six to an order. Mozzarella sticks were good. The fried mushrooms and the mac and cheese bites were all good. I will say that the marinara sauce was terrible. The ranch was pretty good. The mac and cheese bites were good, however if you're expecting Cheesecake Factory mac and cheese bites you will be severely disappointed. They were very good just not what I was expecting. I ordered a margarita and it was great. Then I switched to a glass of red wine which was also good. I ordered the steak tenderloin which was a 10 oz filet mignon. I asked which of the three steaks were the best and the bartender recommended this one. My coworker got the prime rib special. And my other coworker got the tenderloin like me but his was cooked to a medium whereas mine was cooked to rare. All of the steaks were cooked perfectly. My two co-workers didn't like the side salad that came with the meal so they opted for applesauce instead. They both said the applesauce was delicious. On wing night it's Tuesdays and it's 70 cents for wings. They have a lot of flavors to choose from. I did try the Cajun seasoning on the side and I dipped my fries in them. The fries were so good. Literally crinkle cut french fries of my dreams. One thing that I did have a question about was a lot of the reviews talk about salad bar and it even said it on their menu. Apparently they stopped the salad bar when covid happened. So there is no salad bar anymore. I recommend this place especially for the price. Where else can you get a 10 oz filet mignon with a side and a salad for $22? You can't...
Read moreWe went inside the restaurant, there was three of us, and the bartender greeted us immediately said she would be with us in a moment. And she took our drink order said she would check for seating on the inside for us. She came back and said it would be a few minutes to tell her she was ready and then took our drink order. Approximately 5 minutes later we were seated the dining room did have social distancing. The three of us must have sat there over 20 minutes scene one waitress two times. We were never acknowledged during this time. And we seen one other table receive their order of a fish dinners, and a second table order of a pizza. When the waitress finally did approach our table she asked if we knew what we wanted to order, never even asking about appetizers, and when questioned the wait time for a fish fry would be approximately another 25 minutes we thanked her and left. During our time there we seen three waitresses to serve an outside seating area, the bar, and the inside seating. It was one of the worst experiences with a wait time in a restaurant I have experience. I will not return. They seriously need to...
Read moreI really enjoyed my visit here. I'm from Michigan, but haven't lived there in a while. This place really felt like home.
Salid bar has some good stuff that goes good with the meals. Would be great if it had spinach, but then too it would feel less like home.
I had the ribs and they were some of the best I've ever had, which I ate with a fork because they were so tender. Genuinely fantastic and a good amount of BBQ sauce. Not slathered but some in every bite, or just about.
The mashed potatoes and gravy were also...
