My husband and I were married on 7/26/25. We hired Heather and blissful cafe and bakery as the catering for our dessert table. We really wanted to go above and beyond and Heather really matched our vision. She worked with us several times to create new recipes for several different flavors of macarons. I very specifically wanted some macarons that tasted like apple pie/crumble and she absolutely nailed it! Several of our guests commented on how amazing the macarons were and how very specifically they loved the apple pie one! 🧡 That one was my favorite too! She also did an amazing job with putting together our wedding cake. We had some inspiration and ideas to go off of what we wanted and shared that with her but you never really know how it’s going to go until you’re there. It was everything that we hoped that it would be and more, it was absolutely beautiful! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could! Thank you all so much for all of your hard work and patience in making our wedding celebration just that much sweeter 🥰 We look forward to seeing you...
Read moreMy husband and I go to Meredith every year for the summer. I thought I had been everywhere for breakfast food, so I was surprised to learn that I had never been to Blissful Cafe after seeing it online. I ordered a simple breakfast sandwich and my husband ordered a breakfast burrito. Both were gigantic and we probably could have split something (and I can eat!). It was really good the first time we went, but the second time, it was busy and the food wasn't nearly as well prepared. Bonus points for the option for chicken sausage or plain egg whites on the breakfast sandwich (and they use 2 eggs!). Unfortunately, one negative thing I have to say, was that I ordered a scone, which was inedible. I think they actually made a mistake when baking it. It tasted like a baking soda accident, and I had to throw it away after one bite. If you decide to try it, maybe stay away from the baked goods and go for the...
Read moreStopped in for the first time because I saw a poster on the first floor of Mills Falls. I did not know that that spot had reopened under new management. It was a lucky day for me. I was greeted warmly and enthusiastically by the two workers on duty. I ordered what turned out to be a MOST DELICIOUS Tuscan Turkey Panini. It was served on sourdough and was comprised of turkey, Mozzarella, bacon, tomato, mayo, and pesto. It was perfectly pressed. I also enjoyed an iced decaf latte made with low-fat milk. There were delicious looking pastries, several of which were gluten free. I had a pleasant table overlooking the falls and the lake across the street. The two workers were friendly but not intrusive. I highly recommend this cafe. They serve breakfast and lunch from 7-2, Tues.- Sunday. I am eagerly anticipating a return in the very...
