Culver’s — Restaurant in Meridian Charter Township

I have had so many bad experiences here. The majority of the people who work here are very nice so it’s nothing about the staff, but the food and service is almost always sub-par. I came through the drive-through yesterday night and ordered a double butterburger, and even left a tip. Somehow it got put in as a single, and the order was also missing the tomato, mayo, AND ketchup. I had to park, go inside, and ask for what the order was missing. Tonight, I ordered a root beer shake. I got the shake, and it was just straight vanilla. I’ve had one of those before and this one definitely did not have root beer in it. The texture was also strange, and had a bunch of tiny clumps of something in it, like it wasn’t blended well. I’m not sure what it was, but it was unappetizing to say the least and also more disappointing given that I’d already gotten the wrong flavor. Once again, most of the staff here is friendly, but the food and service is just never good. These two situations aren’t unique, either, they’re just the most recent experiences I’ve had there. 1 out of 5 Absolutely the Worst Culver’s Experience Ever This is hands down the worst Culver’s I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to plenty. The cheese curds are consistently cold, like they’ve been sitting out for hours. The buns on the burgers? A soft, soggy disaster that fall apart on contact, mixing into the meat with a gross, mushy texture. It’s honestly disgusting I tried to wash it all down with a Powerade, but guess what? It tasted like straight salt water. Beyond unacceptable.And let’s talk about service the woman working the front counter had filthy fingernails and looked completely out of it. No offense, but she gave off some serious “not fit to be serving food” energy. Not professional at all.This location is a chaotic mess from top to bottom. Triple check your order here!!! Let me start by saying my wife and I love Culver’s and we used to go to this location about every second or third week, driving 10 miles to get there. NEVER AGAIN!!! We had a simple order, two turtle sundaes, both no cherries, one add whipped cream. Neither was correct and both were INTENTIONALLY made wrong. Our sundaes came and mine was missing whipped cream but had the tell tale sign of red cherry juice on it. I assumed the cherry had been placed and removed, no big deal, I was willing to overlook the missing whipped cream that I had paid for even though it had been clearly ordered. My wife and I started eating and I discovered a cherry buried in the ice cream, then my wife found one. I ended up with two cherries and she with four all BURIED in the ice cream, this was clearly done intentionally because someone thought it was funny. To her credit the manager offered to make it right but I refused. I wonder what else they do at this Culver’s just for fun to their customers orders.
