Store was dirty. Servers were not friendly. Food was subpar. For $7.50 for a slice of pizza in a cone shape was not worth it. It smelled terrible, the crust was really hard, etc. We were looking forward to trying this and were sadly disappointed. *in response to the owners response (since I can’t seem to make a new comment under it): We did not sit at a table. The counters were dirty, tables dirty, floor dirty, etc. it was all a little too grimy for our liking, so we took the food to-go and ended up eating in the car. In regards to the lack of politeness the servers quickly took the order without any enthusiasm, and then went back to talking to each other like we weren’t there. It was difficult to ask questions, it was obvious they could care less if we were there. And they didn’t seem happy to be there either. And the smell, for a lack of a better description, smelled like rancid meat. I was literally gagging and neauseated from the smell, another reason why we left. I didn’t even end up trying the cone because I was so sick from the smell, my husband ended up eating alone. Thanks for updating about the sizing, I guess we were a little surprised and disappointed in general about how small the cone was for $7.50. We imagined something a bit bigger for the price, or at least better quality for the amount we paid. We were sorely disappointed that the “meat lovers” was basically just some pepperoni and sausage thrown into a cone of cheese with a...
Read moreWant to like this place, it’s my 1st time in, counter girl was helpful in my selection... went with the chic Alfredo one, ( very little chic, lots of Alfredo sauce and Cheese) I really like it, it was hot, crust was perfect, but the size is an issue for me, sorry I don’t buy the ‘equivalent to two slices’ argument, it does not stack up to two slices of pie from the few Pizzerias I frequent. You have a great product, it just underwhelmed me, I left hungry, $10 for a coned , Pepsi, + tip,
My local pizza shop has a whole pie for that (but you’ve heard that argument before).
As a former restaurant owner to a present one...it’s a darn, darn tough business to be in... you need to overwhelm people to get the place full ‘consistently’... I’d have paid $9.50 or $10 for a combo, two cones + drink and felt some sense of value. I also would have added you to my short list of pizza, Chinese, to go places weekly for my family.
Your a to go kinda place, especially seeing as your seating says so, whether or not you intended it to.
I want you to succeed, give me a reason to make any weeknight a Coned...
Read moreThe coned shape isn't the most ideal way to eat pizza, but it is incredibly fun and cool.
Additionally, the taste is really great for the pizza. The crust gets a little charred as you go down more, but nothing that you wouldn't expect from a regular pizza joint. I got the buffalo chicken cone, which was really great. Both my partner and I were also a little concerned about there potentially being too much sauce and having it spill out everywhere, but really, it was the perfect amount to compliment the taste without overpowering it.
Additionally, the service was both fantastic and fast, which is always a plus.
Finally, they also have cute little games inside! It was very pleasant to be able to play a couple rounds of Sushi Go! while we ate our cones.
We aren't in Boise often, but we're looking forward to filling out the rest of our punch card when we come back...
