Del Taco — Restaurant in Meridian

I wanted to sit down inside and chill while eating something light. Its 10:45pm here and ALL the signage in the windows says "DINING ROOM OPEN" while the app states they're open until Midnight. The doors were locked and after knocking on the windows an employee came to the door and without opening it, told me "we're closed, you can order through the drive-through". I don't mind but their web-site makes zero mention of changed hours. On Google maps it indicates that their hours 'may be varied because of covid'. But no mention of a dining area that closes early while open late-night drive through.

UPDATE** I looked once again as I was taking photos to send for Google Maps to update the businesses data so to include dining room hours. To my amazement I found a small sign in the extreme bottom right corner of the double entrance doors that lists the dining rooms hours! It would be great if this sign were placed where one would notice it much more easily to avoid confusion for others in the future. Hopefully I'll be able to change this to 5-stars once I have an opportunity to taste the food in their open dining...

So I love del taco and eat there often when I'm out of town. This place serves great food and the service is great, but this particular location may have something a little shady going on with pricing.

I've been here two times and the first time my total didnt seem quite right but I didnt think much of it until I came back and noticed it again, so this time I asked for a receipt and was told that receipts were "broken" which is the first time ive ever heard that at a fast food place and seemed to further confirm that something fishy was going on. Didnt want to raise a stink about it in person but it bothered me in hindsight enough to write this review.

I ordered 3 bacon and egg breakfast tacos at 1.39 apiece and 1 breakfast egg and cheese roller for 1.00. This total with tax should come to $5.48 and I was charged $6.39. Really not a big deal, but either they arent charging the price thats on their menu or something else is going on.

I'm all about compensating fast food workers fairly, but don't be sketchy about pricing.

Very disappointed in this visit to this location. When we approached the board to order, there were two people trying to give me instructions. I wasn't sure which one was the one taking my order. They immediately said they were working on closing down early so certain menu items were unavailable. When I pulled forward to the menu, I was informed that an ingredient in my order (tacos) was also unavailable.

When I got home, we realized that the tacos hadn't even been wrapped. As we tried to lift them out of the bag, they all fell apart. One taco has almost no meat at all, maybe a tablespoon, tops. The rest of the toppings were all over the inside of the bag.

I was offered pico in replacement for my missing tomatoes. When I pulled out my tacos, I had a teaspoon of pico on my taco. Almost nothing.

I have worked fast food so I understand the desire to close what you can early and get out as soon as you can, but I find it pretty ridiculous when they still have almost 30 minutes and the whole...
