The Denver Omelet GuyThe Denver Omelet Guy
Le Peep Meridian Official Denver Omelet Review Appearance: 8.0 Nicely folded as a 'mixed' topping omelet, with a golden crisp on the edge of the egg. Uniquely stylized with some of the classic Denver Omelet toppings on top of the omelet which added some color. It is a little on the 'smaller side' which we will get to later... Ingredients: 8.25 Eggs were standard quality, more dense than fluffy. Peppers had a nice texture and crunch. Ham was cubed and tasted average with a regular pinch of salt. Not much cheese, except some was mixed into the omelet's fold (which is acceptable and okay with me). Cooked well and mixed evenly throughout the experience. Taste: 9.0 Very clean and delicious taste, starting with a oil baseline that is not over the top and allows the egg to speak for itself. Flavors were well established and well mixed together. All around a great tasting omelet. Experience: 8.5 Toast was good, potatoes were delicious, and coffee is one of the best out there - with lots of fill ups/top offs! The only Denver Omelet negative is that it is listed as a "Mini Denver". I question what would make such an amazing dish deserve to be 'Mini" however, I appreciate the portion size compared to the price for a "mini" omelet. It is still a must-order for any enthusiasts out there. Overall, Le Peep is one of the most reliable breakfast spots for the family. Lots of delicious options for everyone, including the Denver Omelet Enthusiast within your family :) Total Denver Omelet Review Score: 33.75

It was a 30min wait on a Sunday late morning. From the time we ordered our food we waited another 45 mins to get out food. Our food came out cold. The amount of potatoes I got on my plate was half the serving size of someone else. I ordered the lumberjack, which cam with 2 pancakes, however I was only brought 1 pancake and was told the other pancake would be right out. Who does that? We were missing several things from our orders. Coming from a food industry experience I would never assume someone would want they food a certain way. As the consumer this make me upset because I am paying for my food. When asked to speak with the manager (blonde lady). She proceeded to tell me that the potatoe servings are different with the plates??! Seriously, but it's the same cost. When asked why I only was brought 1 pancake instead of my 2, I was told because they just wanted to get my order out and not let it get cold. But yet never asked me how I would prefer my food to come out. The "manager" on duty had no intentions of making the situation right. I was brought 2 more pancakes to eat with my 3rd cold pancake. Our server Jenny was amazing. She did tell us the kitchen was short staffed and the assistant manager was in the kitchen cooking. However your front end manager wasnt managing anything just letting things run. Jenny took care of our needs and made the visit far more pleasant. As am out of town visitor, we will not be back.

We chose to dine in on an early Saturday morning, and it was quite easy to find parking and get a table quickly. . Pros- A lot of parking and the tables were spread out, so you were not elbows with the next customer. Everything and everywhere appeared clean. Extensive menu and everything came out fast, hot, large portions and delicious. Server Ruth made us feel at home. I must highly recommend the Greek Lemon Chicken Salad. Juicy cooked chicken tons of feta cheese, olives, onions, large artichoke hearts, wonderful pita bread, and hummus. I ordered the housemade iced tea and got a huge glass plus a carafe of iced tea just for myself! Be sure to grab a butter mint when you check out at the register, where cash tips can be taken for your server. . Cons- We weren't made aware of the specials. I truly wish they had some pie for dessert. The salad was overdressed and swimming in oil. Odd soap in the bathroom that would not rinse off your hands. . Looking forward to trying the outdoor seating come summertime!

I cant believe I'm sitting here taking time to write this review... My experience was nothing but poor, my room-ate and i waited 20 minutes to get a seat witch was fine (I knew this place was a killer breakfast joint) we are seated and we both order the same meal Country egg Benedict nothing special no over easy no side stuff just straight up and down two country eggs Benedict. We start to realize its been a while when the people next to us who sat down ten minutes after us began eating there food. A few minutes pass, and ADRIAN my quotes could be a little off here but... "Your food will be right out, i forgot to put your orders in, sorry" we both say okay thats fine expecting maybe ADRIAN will make up for it in some way or maybe even sympathize a little bit at this point it may have been 35-40 minutes of a wait total. Boy was i wrong, i soon realized ADRIAN had given up completely, he accepted that we may be angry because of his error and did nothing or showed no sympathy whatsoever and conversation short it was apparent he had given up on our table completely. Probably not expecting a 22 year old like myself to take the time to leave a review? maybe not expecting a nice tip? I dont know? Ive been in the hospitality industry my entire life and often tip 50-100% Ive lived off of tips for the last 3 years, and love to tip because i understand. Anywhoo, we get our tickets and head to the register to pay and explain after being asked how are stay was, that it was a poor experience, and that ill be late for my grandfathers 80th birthday party now. (thanks for the pen adrian, had to sign the card at the table.) The people at the cashier made up for it and took 50% our tickets and gave us a free meal card. The food was amazing as always... but i think ill be letting my roomate take both of those free meal cards. I don't want to be recognized in that place of food ever again. Sorry i didnt quite look like someone you should have serviced properly, but my God was...

My wife was craving eggs benedict this morning, so we decided to try Le Peep cause we were in the area. Even passed up Jo Mamma's Breakfast Eatery to try this place. That was our mistake of the day. My wife ordered a caramel machiato and it came out luke warm instead of hot. She ordered the Baja Benedict with fruit instead of potatoes and added a small pancake of the month. I ordered the Omni Omlette with potatoes and asked for jalapeños to be added to the omlette. My wife's benedict came out with more hollandaise sauce than anything else on the plate and it was not a very good sauce at all, mostly butter flavor and no seasoning. Her poached eggs were under cooked and slimy. The "avocado" that was supposed to be there ended up being just a paste instead of sliced. The only thing she enjoyed was the pancake, but couldn't stomach eating the slop that was presented to her even though it was a $16 slop on the plate that was presented. SUUUUUIII!!!! My Omni Omlette was supposed to have all the fixings including jalapeños. I ended up with like 3 mushrooms, a tablespoon of green peppers, a splash of green onions, 3-4 sausage halves, maybe it had ham and I think I might've had some bacon, ended up having to ask for my jalapeños. Seemed like the omlette was all egg and hardly anything else. Oh yeah can't forget the 1/4 cup of potatoes that they threw on the plate. Was the most pathetic omlette/potatoes I've ever been served, especially for $16. Spent almost $40 and left hungry... not a good way to leave a restaurant after spending that much. (Oh and my wife also enjoyed the strawberry jam packet that they had at the table)🤣🤣🤣🤣

We will not be back even for a comp'd meal. It's not worth it to either one of us to go back for any kind of other slop this establishment is willing to present to other...

OK, here is My experience in Meridian, Idaho. I have been at many la peeps around the country. This was disappointing. Here are my comments

One: At 8:30 on a Friday morning, my first Impression was “why is this restaurant so empty on a beautiful warm winter day “. there were only three tables of two seated.

Two: As we walked to our table, the floor became increasingly sticky.

Three: My father ordered an omelette with country potatoes, and I ordered oatmeal with fruit and what they called a buttery crescent roll. My dad‘s omelette was hot on the inside, but his country potatoes were greasy filled with onions and Barely warm. My oatmeal was cold clumpy and barely warm. It was supposed to come with blueberries strawberries and bananas with almonds, walnuts and granola on top. I requested no almonds, but extra walnuts. I had to ask for a little bit of butter, but warm milk and brown sugar were on the side.

Three: there were no bananas, the strawberry slices on top weren’t even an eighth of an inch thin, and there were four of these slices, and the blueberries in quantity were four. I had to request twice for the oatmeal to be warmed up in the microwave, which they gladly did. My crescent roll was so dry non-buttery cold that I couldn’t eat it. I took it home to crumble for squirrels and birds. I can’t remember what my father‘s meal cost but my oatmeal was $9.75.

Four: I was very sad, disappointed, and in Boise, Idaho there are plenty of wonderful, quaint and delicious restaurants.

Five: In an hour when we left, there were three parties arriving, no larger than four people.

Six: The service was wonderful, which is the norm in Boise, and Idaho in general.

My family residing in Boise, as well as myself, will...
