I cant believe I'm sitting here taking time to write this review... My experience was nothing but poor, my room-ate and i waited 20 minutes to get a seat witch was fine (I knew this place was a killer breakfast joint) we are seated and we both order the same meal Country egg Benedict nothing special no over easy no side stuff just straight up and down two country eggs Benedict. We start to realize its been a while when the people next to us who sat down ten minutes after us began eating there food. A few minutes pass, and ADRIAN my quotes could be a little off here but... "Your food will be right out, i forgot to put your orders in, sorry" we both say okay thats fine expecting maybe ADRIAN will make up for it in some way or maybe even sympathize a little bit at this point it may have been 35-40 minutes of a wait total. Boy was i wrong, i soon realized ADRIAN had given up completely, he accepted that we may be angry because of his error and did nothing or showed no sympathy whatsoever and conversation short it was apparent he had given up on our table completely. Probably not expecting a 22 year old like myself to take the time to leave a review? maybe not expecting a nice tip? I dont know? Ive been in the hospitality industry my entire life and often tip 50-100% Ive lived off of tips for the last 3 years, and love to tip because i understand. Anywhoo, we get our tickets and head to the register to pay and explain after being asked how are stay was, that it was a poor experience, and that ill be late for my grandfathers 80th birthday party now. (thanks for the pen adrian, had to sign the card at the table.) The people at the cashier made up for it and took 50% our tickets and gave us a free meal card. The food was amazing as always... but i think ill be letting my roomate take both of those free meal cards. I don't want to be recognized in that place of food ever again. Sorry i didnt quite look like someone you should have serviced properly, but my God was...
Read moreMy wife was craving eggs benedict this morning, so we decided to try Le Peep cause we were in the area. Even passed up Jo Mamma's Breakfast Eatery to try this place. That was our mistake of the day. My wife ordered a caramel machiato and it came out luke warm instead of hot. She ordered the Baja Benedict with fruit instead of potatoes and added a small pancake of the month. I ordered the Omni Omlette with potatoes and asked for jalapeños to be added to the omlette. My wife's benedict came out with more hollandaise sauce than anything else on the plate and it was not a very good sauce at all, mostly butter flavor and no seasoning. Her poached eggs were under cooked and slimy. The "avocado" that was supposed to be there ended up being just a paste instead of sliced. The only thing she enjoyed was the pancake, but couldn't stomach eating the slop that was presented to her even though it was a $16 slop on the plate that was presented. SUUUUUIII!!!! My Omni Omlette was supposed to have all the fixings including jalapeños. I ended up with like 3 mushrooms, a tablespoon of green peppers, a splash of green onions, 3-4 sausage halves, maybe it had ham and I think I might've had some bacon, ended up having to ask for my jalapeños. Seemed like the omlette was all egg and hardly anything else. Oh yeah can't forget the 1/4 cup of potatoes that they threw on the plate. Was the most pathetic omlette/potatoes I've ever been served, especially for $16. Spent almost $40 and left hungry... not a good way to leave a restaurant after spending that much. (Oh and my wife also enjoyed the strawberry jam packet that they had at the table)🤣🤣🤣🤣
We will not be back even for a comp'd meal. It's not worth it to either one of us to go back for any kind of other slop this establishment is willing to present to other...
Read moreOK, here is My experience in Meridian, Idaho. I have been at many la peeps around the country. This was disappointing. Here are my comments
One: At 8:30 on a Friday morning, my first Impression was “why is this restaurant so empty on a beautiful warm winter day “. there were only three tables of two seated.
Two: As we walked to our table, the floor became increasingly sticky.
Three: My father ordered an omelette with country potatoes, and I ordered oatmeal with fruit and what they called a buttery crescent roll. My dad‘s omelette was hot on the inside, but his country potatoes were greasy filled with onions and Barely warm. My oatmeal was cold clumpy and barely warm. It was supposed to come with blueberries strawberries and bananas with almonds, walnuts and granola on top. I requested no almonds, but extra walnuts. I had to ask for a little bit of butter, but warm milk and brown sugar were on the side.
Three: there were no bananas, the strawberry slices on top weren’t even an eighth of an inch thin, and there were four of these slices, and the blueberries in quantity were four. I had to request twice for the oatmeal to be warmed up in the microwave, which they gladly did. My crescent roll was so dry non-buttery cold that I couldn’t eat it. I took it home to crumble for squirrels and birds. I can’t remember what my father‘s meal cost but my oatmeal was $9.75.
Four: I was very sad, disappointed, and in Boise, Idaho there are plenty of wonderful, quaint and delicious restaurants.
Five: In an hour when we left, there were three parties arriving, no larger than four people.
Six: The service was wonderful, which is the norm in Boise, and Idaho in general.
My family residing in Boise, as well as myself, will...
