Kids went in for chicken nuggets on July 5th around 10:45pm. They ate some of the Nuggets but stopped because they 'tasted funky'. My son started projectile vomiting at about 3am followed by my daughter at 10am. They were told they had food poisoning by Primary Health but there was nothing they could do other than let it run its course. After dealing with endless vomiting and wicked diarrhea - usually coming from both ends at the same time, fighting to keep down sips of water and Pedialite, and my son missing two days of work the kids were finally better. I DID take back the left over nuggets with the receipt the next morning. The manager did not refund the price of the food ticket. Instead, he filed a claim with York Insurance Company. Matt Bartlett, Casualty Adjuster, left two messages. I have been calling his number back since July 10th with no call back. I called the Corporate McDonalds office in Boise (345-9545) talked to a woman who answered the phone then she transferred me to an unnamed voicemail box. SERIOUSLY?! I know McDonalds gets a bad rap all the time but why are you nailing your own coffin here, people?! Be responsible and do the right thing. At least now you've helped prove my point about...

No beverage fountain drinks in the lobby dining room so you'll have to beg and wait for any refill or better yet forget about getting a refill they don't want you to stick around too much and get any refills even if you paid for.
Lobby dining room is closing at 8pm which is ridiculous for adults with a nightlife. COVID or short on staff is not an excuse anymore.
Then oddly enough outside it's 43°F according to the weather station while inside the lobby dining room the AC is blowing full force at what appears to be around 68-70°F so not only the heat it's not working but they have the AC blowing, what's the logic in that I'm not sure if they even know it.
@admins owners operators, change the schedule for the lobby dining room and bring out the beverage fountain and I'll gladly change my stars rating...
It's unbelievable how low the quality of service is in the Boise area for McDonald's compared to other cities all around the nation... travel people, see and look around other cities and compare and bring Boise up to the standards we've come to expect from the McDonald's...
Read moreI go to this McDonalds quite often and I have to say, Edward is not only the most friendly McDonald's worker I have met, but also the most courteous. He asks how your days been with a smile and I've never had a wrong order from him. And that's why it makes me sad to see the behavior of the main manager. At least 3 times now I come up to the window and I hear her screeching voice yelling at "her" employees. Sarcasm and a tone that looks down upon people is just the start of it. I'd hate to see what those employees go through on a day to day basis. This woman has absolutely NO concept of leadership and her employees seem miserable around her. A serious concern for a restaurant that I'm sure is trying to grow a great team. Edward is the only reason this is a 5 star and not a one star. Leadership is not about having power over others, it's about having the character that allows others to give you that power. This woman wakes up everyday looking for an adrenaline rush and her employees are her victims. I don't know her name but I may update my review if so. She is the main manager and I believe she has shorter...
