I don't know how this pool is at the daytime but at nighttime, it wasn't as crowded. Water was clean but it was too cold though when I first came in- wish it was heated.
The wait time for the waves to come wasn't too long. Felt like it was about a few minutes. (Right before the waves come, lifeguards tell everyone to move behind the line in the middle and then some horns were blown and cannons spew water so the waves don't catch you by surprise. Then, lifeguards give the go ahead and you go swim in the waves.)
Those waves were pretty big. They're not the surfing waves you see that crest and fall. They were more like choppy water waves that moved all around in random directions which unfortunately made swimming out there a bit more difficult and it was hard to swim back ashore too.
