Although the shaved ice is usually great, the leadership/owners need to wake up. The young adults that work here are always super friendly and work very hard even in the difficult circumstances they are put in by their superiors. I have been to this location probably 30+ times and NOT ONCE have they had enough staff. The line is always long and the staff is always over worked. I called this morning (11:30) to place an order before arriving (because I knew we were short on time and wouldn’t be able to wait the 20-30 minutes we usually do), and the poor girl who answered the phone was the only employee working her shift and she couldn’t take my order over the phone because she had such a long line and asked me to come into the store to order. Sept’19: Updated, We went back! This time we missed the crowd so we were able to snag a seating are and share a ginormous multi layered and flavored shaved ice cone. We tried the Blue Coconut, Cherry, Birthday Cake and Mango...what a great. They topped it with coconut cream which was awesome since my son is allergic to dairy. We will be back again! First off, LOVE their shaved ice! I've never had another that even comes close to theirs. It's is EXTRA FLUFFY and if you add their vanilla ice cream, it is EXTRA YUMMY! I don't know what brand they use, but I want to buy the ice cream! I am not a big vanilla fan, nor a plain ice cream fan, but their ice cream is unbelievably good. The last time I came, the staff misunderstood my order twice, but quickly and VERY VERY nicely fixed it. Customer service is hard to come by nowadays, but Bahama Bucks came through and exceeded my expectations.
