Disappointing. We had to wait for at least 10 minutes, due to mobile / pick up orders. Not a huge deal. The girls working were clearly having a bad night so we waited patiently, trying not to rush them.
However, when we did finally order, our orders were rushed and lacking. We both got “Gotta Have It” sizes to splurge for my birthday. My husband got the One Smart brookie (cookie dough & brownies). I would assume the larger sizes would have more toppings, but apparently they just give you more ice cream - and very minimal toppings.
I ordered my favorite, the Strawberry Blonde (strawberry ice cream, graham cracker, strawberries, caramel sauce, whipped cream) but asked to swap the strawberry ice cream out with cheesecake. Instead, the girl made me a Cheesecake Fantasy - cheesecake ice cream, strawberries, blueberries, and graham. Not the same thing. Again, there were hardly any mix-ins, no caramel or whipped cream, and there were blueberries, which I didn’t want.
I told the cashier I was given the incorrect order, but she didn’t apologize or offer to fix it. I asked if I could at least get some whip on top, which she did give me.
It’s very irritating to pay $7.50 per ice cream for something I didn’t even order. There was a large group of 8+ people that came in behind us, so I didn’t feel like stressing out the workers more than they already were. Super...
Read moreI have never had a less professional or more tacky experience at a restaurant or ice cream shop before. Jessica and the young man working with her last night (4/8/21) were slamming the employee door in our face while we were eating ice cream, and then right at 10 pm in the dot kicked us out before us or our kids could finish the $30 of ice cream we had just bought.
When I called them out for being passive aggressive and rude, they told us it wasn’t because we walked in close to closing (we walked in at 9:40 and we tipped well because we know how it is trying to close and customers walk-in) they said they were kicking us out and slamming the door because we weren’t wearing masks.... how do you eat ice cream with a mask on?? The mandate has been lifted, we didn’t see a sign on the door saying it was required and they didn’t ask us to put a mask on at any point in the twenty minutes we were there
The saddest part is that we were taking our friends kids out to celebrate because their parents were in the hospital their mom had just given birth to their new brother. It saddens and angers me that in this new America a family can’t go out and celebrate with ice cream without being harassed over political differences. And from teenage employees?? Disgusting. I hope these two are fired. We will not be coming back...
Read moreHorrible experience in service. Walked in 30 minutes before closing and the 2 workers were already cleaning up and acted annoyed that we walked in to the business.
The male told me they had no milk for a milkshake (really dude?!!).
My daughter, now finished with her ice cream was looking at the glass enclosure where the toppings are behind, and the girl gave her a death stare because she touched the glass with her hands, and now she was “going to have to clean it again.” So a few minutes later she walks around the counter and windex sprays the glass, but doesn’t wipe it off (great deterrent!👍🏻).
There were about 6 more customers who walked in after we did.
Bottom line. There’s no reason for a shop that closes at 10pm to start their closing process until 10pm, after the last customer has left the shop.
It is obvious these people did not want the business, and had much better things on their mind to do other than their job.
This shop has been good, but has now lost my confidence in this one experience. VERY...
