I placed an order online and selected “curbside pickup”. I followed the pickup instructions and called the store when I arrived at the curb. I stated “hi, I placed an order for Kendall for curbside pickup and wanted to let you know I’m here.” All I got was “we don’t do curbside pickup”. I was surprised because I remember selecting that option and giving my cars description and I said “oh.. um well do you have an order for Kendall?” She said yeah. I responded “so should I just come inside then?” And the employee just hung up without answering. So I found a spot in the crowded lot, got out, went inside and there was a gentleman helping two customers while a girl stood to the side obviously trying to look busy. I walked near her since I was just picking up something already made and was hoping she could help me get it quickly without having to wait for the other customers ice creams to be made. She totally ignored me and just kept talking with her friends in the back. I had to wait for the male worker to finish with the other customers and he was very helpful and gave me my ice cream immediately. What surprised me was that I just spoke to this girl on the phone about my order and told her I was there and that id be in soon to get it.. so she could’ve easily had my order ready or at least assisted me when I came in, especially after they refused to bring out my curbside order even though that was clearly printed on the ticket on the bag, and all while there was only one worker actually working and at least 3 just goofing around, seemed like any of them could have brought my ice cream out to the curb. Overall I was just surprised by how rude this girl was.
I thought maybe it was just an off scenario but I can see from the other reviews on here that plenty of customers have had issues with the rude...
Read moreI really enjoy giving good reviews. However, this place does not deserve one, and I hope a negative review will encourage the owner/manager to step up their game... Decided to stop in for ice cream yesterday before going to a matinee next door. The stench of spoiled milk hit me as soon as I opened the door. The place was FILTHY... the floors had not been mopped for a long time, the tables had dried ice cream on them, the glass on showcases were covered with dozens of obviously old handprints, and there was trash littering the outside of the premises. You can literally feel how disgustingly dirty the place is. The girl who served me was totally apathetic; as soon as she got done serving, she disappeared into the back where there was at least one other girl hanging out. It wouldn't take much to keep an establishment that serves food clean and safe. Honestly, for the prices they charge, the place should be fined for poor showmanship and possible endangerment to people's health. Cold Stone Creamery needs to check up on the quality of their franchises. The place...
Read moreWalked in. Cockroach welcomed us in the entryway. That should have been enough to leave. Waiting in line. Worker was making the Strawberry Blond with Raspberry Sorbet. That's should have been clue two to leave. When I brought it to her attention, her response was, but I already started making it. So I let the woman know her order was being made wrong. Last straw? The worker dropped the entire sliding plexiglass directly into the ice cream area. She pulled the plexiglass out. I could see how grotesquely filthy it was. The I noticed the ice cream on the plexiglass. I looked into the ice cream area and could see grotesque debris that had fallen from the plexiglass when she dropped it in there. I'm talking about the two huge plexiglass sliding doors on the workers side. They are going to mix whatever that grotesque debris is that had fallen onto the ice cream to the customers. No, we left. We didn't place our order. Will not be back. I kinda wanna vomit while...
